The koloko thread is right there, the energy wasn't like this, the possibility of him coming back was always in doubt, y'all were saying he looks physically out of shape to be effective, he missed a yr, ect ect ect. Now a FA wants to decide where he wants to play & somehow the organization is the bad guy? Waste smh
Hilarious. The same guys saying signing him would be pointless and having a thread about koloko of all people shows how far the Raptors and masai have fallen...are the same ones trashing masai now because this is somehow a big deal all of a sudden.

This place is cooked lol.

The lakers would be the worst decision for koloko.

The spurs, while it would look bad for us with the thad trade and all, would be his best chance. Outside of with us of course.

He is still going to be a project that needs to get his body back to NBA level and then pick up from where he left off. Wherever he goes it's still a long term project.

He’s a 24 year old raw prospect coming off a serious illness and lost serious developmental time.
For his sake I hope he doesn’t go to the lakers. He won’t be able to produce right off the bat. Klutch better be acting in his best interests and not Lebron

The Raptor fan hype train for Koloko is something else.

He should return to Toronto because I don't think he'll get near the same love you guys give.

I really thought he would re sign with the Raptors because they treated him well.......but since he's with Klutch it makes sense they're going to help the Lakers...typical stuff.

I never got the Koloko hype. He’s a second round pick that averaged 3 pts, 3 rbds, 1 blk on .48% shooting in 13 minutes. He had a pretty serious medical condition and he’s missed a year so why exactly am I blaming the front office for cutting him? Why should I care if he goes to the Lakers to be a third string Center?

Am looking forward to Bruno dunking on him and boxing him out without even trying.
I believe in Masai.

Me too. He is still a project. Not a good rebounder. I wish him well. Ulrich is a better prospect.

Very happy for him. Hopefully he gets his career back on track and can provide for his family with some generational wealth.

That being said, it’s **** anyone who chooses Klutch/Lakers over us.

I much prefer those minutes going to Chomche and even Mogbo so it is what it is.

That’s probably the plan; let Bruno keep those back up mins warm until Chomche and Mogbo are ready to slot in. Bruno has been training with the Raptors all summer and apparently has a fan in Darko. It was his job to lose.

It was basically a trade, between Klutch, Koloko for Chomche.

Some players get caught up in the "Glamour" and "girls" that Los Angeles would bring them. Sad

He's signed with klutch, klutch is the Lakers, the Lakers also might start AD at the 4 meaning CK could get some run as a starter or back-up 5 or he could be a 3rd string C.
The Lakers currently have 15 guaranteed contracts as well and like 10k from the 2nd apron.
I'm not sure how they sign CK neway, this just might be agent talk

Because they're probably going to replace 1 of their 3 existing 2-way players with Koloko, which has no apron implications for them.

NBA is a business first. He didn't feel any obligation to stay with this franchise (the Fernando signing was a hint). Franchise needs to adopt a new attitude and hopefully they've already started on that path.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
