Because, respectfully to Barnes, he's not good enough for a team to pass up whoever they think the best player is.

This thread is going to be funny. Reminds me of the Scotty Barnes pick. People crying because they went off the board.

CMB has traits you can't teach. Can't wait to see him playing defense beside Scotty.

Someone needs to make a spider man meme about the Toronto draymond greens

They said the same thing about Scottie

I was already upset at the notion they wanted to pair Scottie with Gianni’s who is a top 5 player just because they didn’t fit together… guess what they did one better by pairing him with another draymond geeen. Holy **** I normally don’t give a **** but just based on direction this is madness

I’m gonna watch more highlights of him doing crossovers and attacking the basket that’s what’s got me excited

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

He really didn't wanna be drafted here lol....I seen him before the pick as well when he was looking at his phone and prolly seen we picked him he looked visably upset...

If he wanted to avoid Toronto, he should have declared last year

You need size and/or shooting and he went with defense and playmaking. Well he is elite at defense and the best in the draft so you start from that.

you can't win games 2-0 though. and his defense was fine at the college level but he won't have smaller and weaker guys to bully in the league

They went for a guy who can contribute off the bench now. He doesn't fit with Scottie long term.
