Really gritty defender, rarely turns the ball over and is a microwave scorer. He's also a great leader type of player with VanVleet type of persona.

This game against Pitt was his best:

Meh, 37 points.

Om a serious note, how do Martin and Hepburn compare to Shead? Should Shead be worried?

All players picked in second round have to be worried. Shead has to prove that he's actually good at defense (his rep didn't translate well) and his 3 point shooting needs to get bettter. Looked good at times, but he definitely needs to show a leap if he wants to secure that backup pg spot.

Martin and Hepburn are more 3rd guard depth pieces than actual competition but if they kill it and Shead doesn't outplay them then all bets off.

Bobby is taking Kelly's press conference to heart and going to get him and Ed a championship - Summer League Championship.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lawson and Castleton don't play much, it at all. They may be with the team to continue their summer work in practices and their defacto try outs, but there's not much they would need to prove in Summer League. Also good to have them around to see how the new guys measure up to them.

My guess is the real minutes goes to the guys not as far along in their development and that the management wants to take a look at.

Can't wait for the Summer League hot takes and overblown reactions.

Without looking it up, the Raptors have had one summer league MVP in their history, can you name him.

Ochai looked like he was going to be out of the league at summer league last year. Now we want to trade RJ so we can have him in the starting lineup haha

Lol exactly. That was just another reminder that you can’t take too much from summer league. Especially when judging off ball players who can’t create for themselves like Ochai

I'll know basketball is back when I see the first "CMB looking like a bust" post in the game thread.

Fun last names on this roster lol
This could be a product : Shead★ Key Joiner

★for grammar police : "Shead" is a rare or archaic variant spelling of the word "shed".

Maybe they should NOT set up the practice court in the hotel ballroom again.
Hasn't exactly produced a good on-court Vegas product.
And it gives me bad Tampa Tank vibes every time I see it.
