Last season, he spent 60% of his time at C, 40% at F.

He defended Fs better than Cs. He held Fs to a 46 fg%, Cs shot 60%.

You play him for his offense and stretch big ability and just hope he's a net neutral defensively. He's an offensive signing.

Player option makes contract slightly cheaper but it's far more weighted to allow the player to leave sooner. Not a fan of this tactic for management. In other cases, it's just the GM caving to the agent
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Prob want some veteran presence and guys with playoff experience.
Sometimes it makes sense to younger, sometimes it makes sense to go older. In the Spurs case, it's the latter.

How can anyone hate Boucher who was a class act getting benched during his contract year...

I guess the good news is your can put Mogbo or CMB on the person you want to shutdown and Mamu on the other.

because kornet's better. this is a low cost guy that can give you some spot minutes. think jontay porter-like as they are both lefty and hit the 3.

if he can give us 10 mins a night, that's all we need. if he can give us 25 mins a night when yak is out, then that's all we need.

This is also interesting because it allows CMB to work inside with those bench units.

Player option is what it is-but it’s a one year stop gap for us, who outplays his contract or limited risk if he doesn’t.

They did something that addresses a need, with limited resources on a banking holiday no less cudos to them.

Not a defender but can stretch the floor. I would have waited to see if there was a summer league guy we could have taken a flyer on.

3.2 makes PER 36 from 3 on 37.1% is elite for a C

Anyone's guess whether it translates over on a larger sample size and extended mins though

his shooting form/motion looks solid....comparable to a PF rather than a C

ya, because of his shooting, he can play next to Poeltl as well and you hide against the opposing teams worst g/f. But like you said, he's big enough to bang with most C's and you let Barnes/CBM/Mogbo defend the opposing teams best wing.

They're saying us and the Hawks are the superteams.

Seems like a good pickup.

A move is definitely coming.

No reason to make a trade before you see how the team fits together, we have 12 months to duck under the tax if need be

technically 8 months/cant duck tax after TDL

there are ways to duck tax after deadline as well.

Waive and stretch?
