I think Dick/Walter/Mogbo are all on the table for upgrades these last few players we drafted besides CMB are pretty much meh rotation players and if you can use them as add ons in a bigger trade that is prolly the move to make for a better player.

Whats his value? What has he shown to be desirable to other teams?

We really wasted the 1st pick in the 2nd round on this guy because he's scotties buddy.

He needs to have trade value to begin with.

You'd also have to explain to about 25 teams who he even is.

he was projected to go 30-40 in the draft, its not a reach to have drafted him.

Raptors should try and get the best player they can for a package of Agbaji and Mogbo and call it a day.

Mogbo's fate was sealed when we drafted CMB, who is basically a better and younger version of him. A bit of a waste of a 31st pick, but whatever.

Doubt very much any of these players have trade value. Will most likely be empty fillers if there ever were trades. Referring to Walter, Mogbo, and Agbaji. Walter might be the only one with tiny bit of value but probably won't fetch much at the end of the day. Maybe another middling prospect without much upside that fits the roster better. Or second round pick.

Give him this season in the 905 and then see how much he improves. It might click with him and he has the tools.

Facts, he's a nobody. I'm sure some team might be interested... If he's waived.

And he's exactly the mold of players raptors like to take

The tools are there, his defence is NBA ready. He needs more game time to improve his offence instincts and skills. SB had improved his jumper since the rookie season. If Mogbo can improve his shooting and become a 3&D, he will have a long career.

Right now he is on a minimal contract which is controllable. I would not just dump him to open a spot unless it is a significant upgrade. SB>>CMB>Mogbo. Mogbo is the 3rd PF and provides depth insurance.

I still really like him as a player and as a fill in if we have injuries. Given that he sis basically a minimum salary, I don’t see the need to trade him. It wouldn’t even help us get under the tax as we’d have to fill his roster spot.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I wanted Tyler Smith. Did the Buck's cut him?

He had a really bad pre-season and was cut! OMG, trade Ochai and Mobgo for the best player and sign Smith! I feel like he could be like a Boucher project.

no dice wrote:He is such a stupid pick. Dont get me wrong he is decent but the consensus 1st pick in the 2nd rd was flipkowski which would have solved the back up C issue. Not even sure where Mogbo was projected but he definitely was not at the top and played the friend card

I had Ajay Mitchell for the 31st pick that year. Was very surprised we passed on him knowing we needed a guard and already had Barnes who does everything Mogbo does but better.

What are you trading him for? He might be a throw in for a larger deal, but he's not really bringing anything back? I guess if they really need to get under the tax, Brooklyn might take him into their space?

But is he playing in a similar way to how he would play with the Raptors?

That would be the key. Not to dominate, but to get reps at the things you'd want to see at the NBA level. So when he does get re-called, he doesn't have to re-adjust.

We should be using him as a non shooting wing. The POA defense is his best skill and I want to see it tested against explosive wings. Mitchell and Garland would be good tests to showcase that talent.

The thing that I don't like is the lack of shooting and next to no improvement in his NBA career from year 1 to now.

If we can get a defensive back up big. I would say we need to make that deal. Mogbo + Agbaji for Bitadze makes sense to me for us, not really for Orlando.

A short sighted move like that could add a few wins for us but I don't see it as a difference maker. It might be better to see what he can do in year 3 and his last year of his contract before sending him out.

I kind of think of him like Temple, even though he’s 2nd year player. Roster spot for team vibes.
