Jak was 7/8 from the field. A little slow on rotations maybe

Quick, outside of his 0-7 from 3, played a good game. Bad shooting games happen

Im not sure what could’ve been disappointing about Jakob tonight..

Well he fouled out in only 22 minutes and was the only Raptor with a minus on/off, so OP isn't completely out of line. All in all though it was a great game from everyone.

Hawks lost by 20 while turning it over less, going to the line more and outshooting us slightly from 3. Raps were 48 for 70 on twos. 69%. And they weren’t long ones either.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

sorry, I was referring to Jak defensively.

he's probably a little out of shape. probably nothing too concerning.

in other fun NBA news tonight

the clippers are losing by 30 at the half
embiid went 1-9 tonight
OG dominated and the knicks beat the Cavs
the celtics lost
brooklyn got clobbered

just a great all around night of basketball
a lot of things are gonna normalize throughout the course of a season though. Remember the big 3 heat didn’t start off all that great. They lost their first game And were 5-4 after their first 9 games.

Glad that the raptors won instead of lost obviously. On to the World Series. Watching playoff baseball is so tense.

Another season begins and the home town kid who led the team in scoring for the past 2 seasons finds his spots in the offense to contribute and lead us to a win again.

RJ seems ready to have a big season for us.

Love to see how well coached this team is too!

The new guys are fitting in well.

We need another big and/or CMB to play the Mogbo minutes.

Pretty good game by everyone all around.

Quickley is starting to worry me a little bit...not sure he was worth all that money but it's still early so we'll see.

Hawks desperately need to move away from Young. Not sure why they're hanging onto him for dear life.

I felt like our effort was off the charts tonight. Even watching the Blazere v Wolves in the first quarter and it legit has playoff vibes. I'm happy NBA basketball is finally back.

No one was really disappointing to watch tonight. Again everyone played well and was efficient. It’s only one game though and I like I said things are gonna normalize and we’re really gonna see what the team is made of when they face elite teams. Need to see how they counter and how the roles eventually end up getting defined. I think the hawks were atrocious and made us a look a little better than we are. Again I think we should be top 6 in the east but tonight we looked like contenders and Idk if we’re that yet.

I thought that was actually an encouraging game from Quickley. He went 5/5 in the paint, which is big since he has had trouble finishing in his career, and had 8 assists. If he had just hit a few of those open 3's he would've had a very nice stat line.

ingram was tired in the 2nd half. gonna take time to get his conditioning up.

bring on the bucks - this early tough schedule will be good for us imho. just bring the intensity on defense and let the chips falls where they may.

He played fine. HIs shooting will normalize.

As long as he plays good d and hits his threes he fits the team perfectly. He doesn't have to be a true pg with a team that has BI, Scottie and RJ.

we were ranked by some as the worst situation in the league  because we paid our guys and have a high salary for a losing team (that's never even played together.)

I felt this one coming.

The whole salary thing gets way overplayed. It's a discussion more relevant to future seasons and has little relevance to this one.
