It seems Billups is caught up in BOTH the poker games and the inside information sports betting investigation.

NBA putting a player and coach on leave? What happened to the burden of proof! They haven’t been tried in a court of law!

Meanwhile we get to see Kawhi and Ballmer’s guilty asses at every game this year.

That's completely irrelevant as it pertains to a private business and how it operates. The NBA has its regulations, codes of conduct and agreements. It can fire any employee if it feels a transgression has occurred. As a brand, even the association of the NBAs players with criminals (the mafia in this case lmao) can be deemed harmful to the goodwill of the business and act accordingly.

Put them on leave and wait for the investigation to finish. Then based on the outcome, re-instate or terminate completely.

I think that was meant to be a tongue in cheek reference to the Kawhi situation.
