Yea, you're right.

Their track record dictates we should keep riding this out.

Agbaji's defense was his strength last season and that had nothing to do with the team being bad. He just hasn't helped them at all so far this season.

He's closer to average than elite defensively. If you're not elite, you're not going to impact every game on that end.

I'll take average over bad. Not being able to guard the pick and roll will absolutely leave a negative impact on the team.

Fanbase when we go 1-3 despite us all acknowledging we had a tough opening schedule:

With zero rim protection, maybe they should chill with the low-resistance ball pressure 35 feet from the basket.

The stretched defense worked in the pre-season, with the third stringers. It doesn't work with the starters.

Don't know why anybody wouldn't give this team at least 10 15 games to see what they look like

I think that's fair. As much as I see the writing on the wall, the top brass has invested A LOT of money into this core. End of November is my marker.

It's not a stretch that this team could start 1-9.

If that happens, big changes required. The time for patience is over

This team hasnt actually played all that much together.

Problem is IQ and Jak look like bench players

I remember hearing how well IQ was playing coming into training camp. The hype was surely there. Right now, it seems that IQ's role is either ill-defined or he's going against what's being asked of him. I thought he was going to be the 'catch-and-shoot 3&D' guy. So far, he's looked like the 'trying to show I'm worth all of that money' guy, and it's hurting his team.

They can't defend anyone, an undermanned Dallas team just dropped 139 points on them. I said when they traded for Ingram it wouldn't work, a starting lineup of IQ, Barrett, and Ingram at the 1, 2, 3 is a bad fit at the defensive end, this team has too many one way players to be successful.

Think about how much money Masai wanted for a contract extension to keep running this flawed roster he assembled out there

I personally don't get a cut of team revenues. So I don't care for some 35 win type season. This is a team maxed on salary with mediocre upside at best. I see lots of young players showing good improvement so far around the league. I don't see it here.

It is very apparent that Battle should be taking Dick's spot in the rotation. He is a much more useful player right now while JKW is out. Battle has also outplayed him so far in their time in the NBA.

I agree. This team is missing some key archetypes to really hit it's optimal play. There is not enough consistent three point shooting, there's a lack of perimeter and post defense (specifically shot blocking), key roles are undefined, and team is still struggling to gel on the court. The tough part is I can root for a bad Raptors' team, but I hate watching the Raptors when they don't play with consistent effort. I feel like the needy partner that continues to scream about effort over intent

Can't see Quickley being a high level starting PG. Can't defend, plays at one speed, and lacks basketball IQ.

What does he offer when his shot is not falling? Maybe we were too spoiled watching Kyle Lowry for years.
