Our fans suck. Especially the fans who have no patiences. Every loss is calling for heads and every win is fake. Just shutup and watch basketball. It's not even discussing basketball it's just constant whining and crying about every little thing. You're sucking the joy out of basketball. Someone brought up Schroder like he isn't on his league record 17th team. The team isn't contending with this roster, so temper your expectations.

It’s wild. We have three borderline all-star players and two of them likely become all-stars when this team gels or upgrades or does whatever is needed to push them into 50-55 win territory. We’re not in a bad position. At all. Championship teams aren’t built overnight (unless you’re the Lakers or Yankees or Dodgers etc. who can just buy players). Let’s just give this thing some time to build. Bobby told us that the roster we start the season with won’t be the roster we end the season with. We’re still building. And to be 6-5, given our schedule and a starting lineup that has redefined Scottie’s role and is integrating a high usage player in Ingram, is quite good. Maybe we should just let it play out a bit.

To be honest, we’re not privy to a lot other than play this guy more or less. A lot could be us projecting. In that context, I like how he seems to keep things behind closed doors. I notice a stark difference in Scottie’s behaviour lately since beginning of the season and I have no doubt Darko had a lot to do with that but nobody really talks about it. I like how he seems to handle internal stuff, like with Schroeder we didn’t hear about until he left. So yeah, seems like he is as advertised as a players coach and inexperienced with X’s and O’s stuff.

I think the X’s and O’s are a strength of Darko’s. His offence speaks for itself. The defence has great principles, we just need players (RJ, Ingram, IQ) to execute them properly instead of getting lost on switches/cuts. And we tend to have great out of timeout plays.

One thing I like about Darko is he’s not afraid to adjust his approach.

My only criticism of Darko this year, especially after the first five games, is not playing Battle more. But I’m sure he wants to give Dick and especially Walter a chance to prove themselves before relegating them to the bench. There’s likely some pressure from up top to play the first round picks as well.

Darko has impressed me. Apparently he has impressed a lot of analysts around the league as well. He is a serious coach.
