8 man rotation seems set, who do you want as the 9/10?

Battle has clearly shown to be the 9th guy and based on their play, Dick deserves to be tbe 10th guy.

Although I think last years version of Ochai would be perfect. Hopefully this time off lets him get right the same way it did for Poeltl.

One thing for sure, send Walter to the G League unless we have injuries or make a consolidation trade or for a backup C.

Lawson and Walter have similar body types, but I am not sure which is the better player at the moment. Walter is obviously younger and has time to develop.

Gradey has been a positive player all season even when his shot isn’t falling, he hasn’t tanked defensive lineups even though he’s still not a good defender and he has hit his open 3’s at a high clip. He also has some of the highest gravity on the team whether people on here want to believe it or not. Other than him needing to get better at hitting contested/semi contested 3s and finishing better in the paint, he’s been just fine. I don’t understand why people hate him so much. Sometimes it feels like y’all care more about individual players and your favourite getting minutes and not the team. Who gives a **** if Ja’Kobe and Ochai are better defenders when we lose minutes as a team when they play.

Walter and Ochai have been terrible. Like literally terrible. But everyone still wants them playing over Gradey. I don’t get it. It’s all a small sample size and if they start playing better then we can talk, but right now Battle is the only guy that should be fighting Gradey for minutes. Gradey is clearly the 9th man in Darko’s eyes and I’m glad he is the coach and not y’all lol Our bench would be so much worse and not the success it has been so far if we played Walter and Ochai over Gradey based on how they’ve all played these first 11 games. Ochai has to prove last season wasn’t an aberration first before we just go giving him minutes just because.

Sometimes what we think should work on paper and in theory does not. That is why they play the games. It’s okay to accept that currently Gradey and Battle have been better than both Ochai and Walter. If that changes cool, they can take someone’s spot. At least Darko is still giving Walter minutes so he doesn’t kill his confidence and gives him time to get out of this funk if he can.

This is why I’m so happy we are trying to win this season, because you get to see who can and will contribute when you’re a winning team. Who actually contributes to winning and is a positive player. Sometimes that person may not be the better individual player. Some players can only play well when there are no expectations and losing is okay. The best players will win out of that group, simple. Focus on what is and not what you felt should be.

I don't get it either. Looking at the poll results, you'd think "everyone" doesn't want that.

dick, while not shooting well yet, does something the other guys dont on offense, defenders stick to him differently and you dont get defenders ignoring him and doubling or guys like IQ RJ SCOTTIE etc. until that changes dick is important for our other guys on the court.
