they've been great for us.

I agree. It's very sad for me to see Rasho go especially - he was a fan favorite of mine, and a true Serbian christian hero. A might hulk of a man, and the only real bright spot of our season post all-star game... Ford I also wish to do well - nobody wants to see his career end, and I hope he flourishes in Indy. His time here was up, and I trust in BC that he found him a good situation - Colangelo loves to do his employees (current and former) right, and won't put them in a bad situation... it's why people do business with him.

I AM VERY EXCITED. Now... How can we get Gordon or Hinrich from the Bulls ??

You people are far too attached to a 17th pick in the draft. I wasn't around when we had #1, but I suspect many of you lost your damn minds around that time.

We are getting a former all-star who has something to prove. If we get a athletic three then we probably have one of the best front lines in the business, a superstar in the making PG, and a bunch of three point bombers on the wings. Life is good right now.

Boston, we're coming for you baby.

no offence to TJ, but we played just fine without him last season.

Things will have to go pretty well but what I LOVE about this deal is it leaves the Raptors with Bargnani, Moon, Humphries, Kapono and possibly Parker (if the team is getting a star SG back) to trade for another quality player to complement Bosh, O'Neal and Calderon. Would the Nets take Bargs, Kapono, Parker and a future first for Vince? I don't like that deal but it's the kind of thing I'd like to see something similar happen and even if it doesn't I think the Raps will win more than 47 games for the first time in their history this coming season.

strictly PR...not happening.

I'd go after Maggette, Rip, Jefferon, Howard...but not Diaw.

Yep.

Looks like it's going down, wowza.

I suspect BC may have something else up his sleeve too.

like what? sending bargs + filler for Maggette? :)

Heh, for some reason, I don't know why, I think there's a chance Bargs could be moved.

Probably just getting way too amped up around draft time.

I'm not a big fan of JO and his $20M+ per either. But he has always been productive when he's been healthy.

As was said before, he absolutely needed out of Indiana. Hopefully he'll be happy here and bew able to produce as well as he's paid.

This means that BC is happy with Marion-light (Moon) at SF.

Huh, JO in TO. I'm blazeh abt it.

this will put us up with the elite in the east, however, i just wish it was calderon instead of ford. Ford will be missed, as he was my 2nd favourite player after Bosh

I guy like Courtney Lee seems good. It seems like he could be a young Anthony Parker.

My bad I didnt know JO still averaged 2 bpg even on that bad knee, it would be sick if we come out of this draft with JO and CDR or Walker. Its sad to see TJ go like this, I wish him luck and I hope Indy gets him some good athletic players to work with...

So essentially...Charlie Villaneuva + Matt Bonner for JO?

I'm surprisingly comfortable with this.

Toronto also will send Rasho Nesterovic and another role player to match up with O’Neal’s salary.

Baston anyone?

So this essentially means...

CV + Bonner + Eric Williams = J. O'Neal! :D
