Great news, someone who can box out. I'm guessing it will take some time for him ti get into game shape, and dunno if he'll play this year. But I've liked what I've seen from the kid so far.

From what I've seen, I picture a less skilled Andrew bynum, the ability to back a man down and he has the necessary wingspan and athleticism to throw it down.

Problem is the competition down in Australia isn't quite as good as the NBA, so he may have just been dominating down there with raw strength. He doesn't have a polished game, just started playing basketball 4 or 5 years ago. Still, he was Rookie of the Year in Australia's NBL

That's great news!

I don't expect much from him though. He looked lost in the SL. No sign of D, almost constantly in a poor position to grab rebounds, questionable conditioning, and puts up a lot of weak shots around the rim.

I don't want to dump on the guy but he's another project player. There isn't a lot of minutes at the 4/5 to develop him right now so he'll have to be sent down to the D-League or hope to get better strictly through practice and garbage time.

Glad he is okay. At one point it sounded like something life threatening, which may still be a possibility in the future. But for now, good to hear such positive news.

I would trade Bargnani, Adams, Graham and a 1st rounder for a nice big upgrade at SF. If we could acquire that impact type upgrade, I would put us back up there in contention with the big boys but obviously that depends on the type of upgrade we get. I want this lineup around the trade deadline for the Raptors
