bargs and calderon +pick for wade

PG:Jack, banks
SG: Wade, DeRozan, Belli
SF: Hedo, Weems, wright
PF:Bosh, Evans
C:Amir, Rasho, POB

only thing is we may need to make another move for a legit C, otherwise i think this could work out.

haha keep dreaming, rather let wade walk and be left with 40 + mil in cap if it came to that than be stuck with the garbage proposed here

but wade isnt leaving so this is mute

miami will be fine, at worst we land amare in trade or carlos boozer/amare/joe johnson and others in the offseason, wade isnt going anywhere

while wed be bummed out to lose bosh we have other options

maybe giving belli (young potential) , POB(expiring) and wright(improving) for a legit C

If they were to EVER do this - I think it would take Andrea, Demar, Amir (re-signed) and Banks (expiring) + 1st (or 2-3 of them).

In that case, sign Reggie, find a suitor for Jose (who needs the ball in his hands) and let Wright walk.

PG - Jack, TBD
SG - Wade, Belli, Weems
SF - Turk, Weems
PF - Bosh, TBD
C - Reggie or TBD, Rasho (@ minimum), POB

I think that's pretty close to winning a chip!

Where do I sign up?

i dont need a source to tell that its (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to even consider wade landing in tor

while i agree that bosh is at this pt more likely to just resign in tor given the fact that you guys are playing well and he can make more $, its still a legit possibility that he could just outright sign in mia given that he can team w/ wade here and make a run and still get a max deal...but again, tor is still prob in the lead

meanwhile, there is 0 % chance wade lands in tor beacuse if he walks wed be left with 40 + mil in cap space...unless wade specifically wants out and we get an unbelievable offer wed be better off letting him walk than taking back some of the players you guys proposed...sorry but derozan and bargs dont cut it..not..even...close

heat fans were saying that you should do beasley for bosh back when you guys were losing and because if bosh leaves you truly would have been screwed as you have no cap room to improve the team. now obv it wouldnt make sense for you guys

i personally believe that bosh will prob resign in tor but IMO its his loss as i dont think tor would even win a championship with him as your best players...you guys have long term deals for vets and there is very little room for improvement, but if bosh would rather make a little more to be the man on a perennial playoff team w/ no championship hope instead of teaming up w/ wade or lebron then thats his call

all is not lost if bosh resigns in tor....miami will still have 24 mil in addition to wade to go after amare/jj/boozer...guys who will prob leave their teams (maybe not JJ)

We could have probably traded carter for a high pick and who knows, maybe we could have had bosh and wade on the same team. For now, just start having pipe dreams of them playing together.

If we cuda saw into the future trade VC/MoPete for 5th pick, future pick + Eddie Jones.

Draft Bosh, Wade

Boogie/Palacio
Jones/Wade
MCurry/LMurray
JYD/Bosh
AD/Moiso

LOL .. with the good ol master of offense at the helm... how would have that season have played out? I'll tell you one thing, we Raptor fans would have never got to experience the enigma that was Jalen Rose, which was amazing.

The honest truth that the media doesn't admit or is not privy to is that all of the young superstars of the league love staying in Toronto when they are here. They have a lot of fun up here. It is a possibility, and thats why I love the BC showing confidence in his ability to keep Bosh and be a "buyer" rather than a seller. time for Toronto to stand up!

(note: it is possible but still improbable due to reasons mentioned above)

No thats his backside.

Very unlikely not only because Wade wouldn't pick Toronto but also because MLSE would not be willing to fork over that much luxury tax.

So I'm guessing from all of the above posts, that we would rather have Bosh on a max contract than Wade?

Bosh wouldn't want Wade here. Wade would steal all his thunder and make him play second fiddle, which Bosh has no interest in doing so whatsoever.

If Wade is going to leave Miami, it's for Chicago.

Return to Toronto Raptors
