As Ucan said - Jonas already played a full quarter and a lot of time particularly when Samardjiski was injured. And It wasn't an issue for him. If anything he looked fresher than any of his teammates. But now it suddenly became the problem? I would understand if extended minutes would have happened at the start of the season then you can make an excuse that all those games since then tiured him out but Jonas playing many minutes wasn't far away from Khimki game.

If he handles those well, he should have handled this one just as fine, particularly when he practically did not play in the first half.

Today will be a 3rd game for Rytas in 4 days. There was no point to bring Jonas back on the floor in the 4th quarter since the game was over, and instead of that Dzikic gave more playing time to Samardziski. As a matter of fact I was trying to find a reasonable explanation for why Jonas played so little yesterday, and as all of you I'd love to see Jonas playing 30-40 minutes. Finally, that tanking thingy I said was a joke, since you don't take your best player out in a crunch time unless you want to lose.

But yesterday it was a second game in 3 days. tensed but not something that did not happen before and Dzikic was keeping Jonas in for longer time even if the games were blow-outs.

So why do you think Dzikic keeps Jonas in for longer time even if the games are blow-outs?

Because he is an idiot. I dont mind keeping Jonas for longer as his body is young and the injury risk is low and stamina is high, but keeping guys like Rice or Rasic for 27+ minutes in a blow-outs is just stupid when you let Redikas or Dambrauskas play for 3-4 minutes in return.

Well Dambrauskas at least isn't a good player so maybe Dzigic thinks he stinks the court way too much even for the blow-outs but Redikas and Dilys aint bad players and he still gives them only crap of PT.

I remember journalists once asked about the retardation of Dzikic rotations as in why in blow-outs main guys play while the young guys like Redikas and others sit. You know what this fat genius answered?

"I don't know."

The coach who doesnt even know what the hell he is doing should not coach the team. How can you trust such guy?
