I feel like teams are sleeping on Trendon Watford. Combo forward with excellent size 6'9, wingspan (7'2) and ball skills, and he's added the three pointer.

Ariel Hukporti (6'11 with 7'3 wingspan) also looks interesting from my views. Mobile and bouncy big who can block shots and hit the three. Shows some ability to handle and defend in space.

Highlights are only dunks though.

72% FG, 4 for 4 FT and 1 for 1 from 3. :o Coming into the game he was shooting 62.4%, 44.1% from 3 and 85.7% FTs. :o

Here's another reverse alleyoop from a few days ago.

While we're talking about big men let's include Sandro Mamukelashvili from Seton Hall. At 6'11" 240 he reminds me a lot of Lamar Odom with his style of play averaging 18/7/3 on 47/33/75 splits. He still has work to do as a shooter, but there's no reason to believe that he can't be a 45+/35+/80+ shooter in the NBA

Here are some highlights (so take it with a grain of salt), but he shows flashes of the potential he could have...

Dude you’re impressed by this guy? He moves at half speed. Also in the league the defense won’t be brain dead like this.

I wouldn't mind trading down and getting Petrusev in the 1st and Huff early 2nd. I see him as potentially a 7'1 Boucher.

From last season. Game winning block!

I saw Watford play against Kentucky a couple of nights ago, he kind of plays like Cunningham. He's probably not as good as Cunningham but I thought he was intriguing none the less.

I watched Mamu quite a bit last year because I was such a fan of Myles Powell. This year he has been doing great with a bigger load on offense. He is an offensive-minded player so it may work against him with Toronto's draft history, but I really like him. He could be a solid second rounder.

Trendon is a decent sophomore taking a big leap on offense with his shooting, but it is weird he has such low block and steal rates. With his size you kind of expect more athleticism on defense.

Don't know Hukporti but he is pretty young. I hope he stays in Europe and develops there.

He's interesting with that combination of measurables and ball skills. On offense he kind of reminds me of Pascal but with better handles and more shake. He does a great job getting to the rim and making plays and now he's added the three. I'm gonna bear down on his defense to see if that's where he's getting dinged by scouts. He's certainly got the tools and quickness to be a good defender.

Yeah, I'm curious about that too. With that wingspan alone he should be getting blocks and steals almost by accident.

All analytics team?

PG Joel Ayayi
SG Chris Duarte
SF Corey Kispert
PF Evan Mobley
C Jay Huff

Ayayi helps with the rebounding while Huff gets blocks. Kispert is ridiculously offensively efficient 67% on 2's (Ayayi is over 70%) and the bigs will help protect the rim for Kispert.

Ayayi is a weird PG, almost Rondo like to me the way he can rebound. I just don't buy his handle to be a lead NBA guard. I was watching him pretty close last year because I thought he might come out, but I felt like after Killian Hayes and Theo Maledon, Ayayi was like the third best young French PG. I actually think he ends up more of a combo/SG.

Ya perhaps you're right; he would be great beside a Ben Simmons, Doncic, Harden, Lebron or Jokic. I guess his floor is Frank Ntilikina with great rebounding.

If we did end up with the 19th pick, I'd hope for Boston (even though I don't think he slips out of the lottery) or one of the freshmen. Garuba and some of the international prospects are projects as well but I'd gladly take that risk too

I think if that was exactly the way it played out I'd probably take Keyontae Johnson if I'm trying to win next season, but if I'm future planning I'd probably go with one of Cooper, Jones or Nix.

He's intrigued me as well. Reminds me, (stylistically) of Jokic. Unique big for sure. Needs to go to a team with a good development system. What better team then us. Would love to grab a 2nd round pick and get him.

Check some these passes out, and always remember he's 6'11" 240 :o

We are officially 25% of the way done through the season and everything is still up in the air. Still no clue where we end up picking. Whether it’s high in the lottery, late lotto, late teens, or 20s. I hope we pick a direction soon cause right now we’re neither winning legitimately nor are we tanking fully.

We’re currently on pace for picking around 5-10 which isn’t too bad but I’m greedy for a top 5 pick lol

The Raptors won't catch Detroit or Washington, they are locks for bottom records. Minnesota is currently with them but Covid ravaged and injuries, I can see them playing around .500 the rest of the way and floating up to the herd. The herd currently has 10 teams between 6-11 and 8-10. So that's picks 1-12.

Funny enough 8-10 is now good enough for the 8th slot, and 9 and 10 also get to play in the wild card games. Raptors are 0.5 games out of the 10th slot play-in game.

Raptors are 0.5 games out of the 3rd worst record (Miami needs Jimmy Butler back and to start winning, imagine they are the 7th seed and knock out the Bucks in the 1st round?!?!? ).
