I'd do it, but I don't see Cleveland trading the #1 under any circumstance. And I think Cleveland would prefer Burks and #1 to #5 and Derozan for the same reasons as us.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Knight initiates the fast break beautifully, no one can match his speed in the open court right now.

Watching his game, who looks like the better prospect between Barnes and Knight?

Don't let the hype get you guys. Watch the game and trust what you see.

Yeah I don't know why people don't want Knight on this team. I'd say if we are drafting for need, Knight should be second on our draft board after Irving. I rank Walker one spot lower because he's a little older and shorter. They are about equal in skills although Walker's is a little more refined since he's been in college longer. The position we need a major upgrade is at the point. Knight fulfills the qualities we desire. He's able to run the break, shoot jumpers, drive into the paint, plays adequate defense and is a competitor that's not afraid to make the big plays.

serious question
with the lockout coming:
is a players ncaa eligibility violated whe their rights are drafted or when they sign a contract.

Could a play enter the draft, get drafted, not sign a contract then go back to college?

Liggins is a very underrated prospect. He can shoot adequately but can also drive and pass far better than he gets credit for.

I think they are very similar tbh.

- Good shooting mechanics, but lacks consistency
- Good defense
- Ideal size for the position
- Not the greatest athletes
- Great work ethic, smart players
- Both very young
- Inconsistent
- Can hit big shots
I think one difference is that Knight's playing a bigger role for his team

Knight was up mighty high on that block/foul. more and more he's starting to feel like the guy.

Brandon Knight is going to be a much better pro than many players drafted higher than him. Looks like Rondo with a J

i'm pretty sure that as long as they don't sign an agent, players can get drafted and return to school.

Seriously, we really should consider drafting knight with our pick. Dude has work ethic, athleticism, great size for a point guard, and already has a consistent jumper. Also, he doesn't turn 19 till December.

You're almost there. Knight is the better pro prospect than Kyrie. Don't really want to argue the point because I know you all have convinced yourself Irving is your top choice, but there are several attributes Knight has that Irving doesn't and they all will help Knight be the better pro, IMO.

Also Knight has a game changing dynamic about him that a lot of good players in the league possess. Barnes put up nice stats and all but it just seems like he's there.

similar body type and level of athleticism. didn't watch rondo in college but these days he's a distributing magician with the ball, unlikely that Knight gets to that level but i haven't watched him all that much.
