I love the guy but no one is going to put their head on the line in the top 10 for Dion.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

There's talk the wizards might move their pick if they dont win the lotto

Jonathan Givony@DraftExpress
Hear they might try to move the pick if they don't get #1. RT @scotteharris4: Don't the wizards already have an MKG type in chris singleton?

You guys think It's worth trading for that pick using like say andrea/ed or using our 8th pick + player to move up to where the wizards are selecting

Davis 1, obviously.
MKG 2, as expected.
Cavs don't need to draft Robinson; they have Thompson, so they take Beal, who they are rumored to like.
Then Robinson goes--solid pick to NOH who need everything, basically.
Then Drummond, Mr. Potential, to Sacramento at 5. They need a lot and could take Barnes but the thought of pairing up Drummond, if he works out, with Cousins is pretty awesome.
Portland at 6 doesn't need Barnes as they hope to re-sign Batum, so they take Sullinger to pair with Aldridge.
Golden State gets Barnes at 7, who they are rumored to like, ie. he won't get past them.
Lamb then makes sense for us as we need shooting (and playmaking is a bonus). You can, of course, make arguments for Lillard and PJ3 in our slot.

This looks good, the X Factor is Drummond. His upside could make him to hard to pass for Clev or NO

Pretty stupid logic by Washington I almost guarantee that if we stay at 8 or fall back
Colangelo will try to move up. Could only take our pick and the 2 second rounders
to move up a few spots. They might want ED cause hes from the area.

When was the last time Colangelo moved up in a draft? Why such confidence to make a guarantee?

I said "will try" didn't say he would be successful. He likes to fill holes at the draft and I can see
him wanting Barnes and MKG badly. Who knows hes finally got the assets and flexibility to
get something done.

What the...move the pick ?? :o there's a Bradley Beal that can help them tremendously, even a guy like T-Rob would help them alot too.

From SI's Sam Amick's team-by-team breakdown of lottery teams' likely targets (nothing really new here, but posting nonetheless):

Lillard is a possibility here, too, as the Raptors are looking for offensive firepower after making defensive strides under first-year coach Dwane Casey. With Jose Calderon entering the final year of his sizable deal ($10.6 million next season), they need a point guard for the future to pair with center Andrea Bargnani, fellow big man Jonas Valanciunas and 22-year-old shooting guard DeMar DeRozan. (Valanciunas, the fifth pick in 2011, has begun negotiations to get out of his Lithuanian contract and is expected to join Toronto for next season, according to NBA.com.) In some ways, Marshall, a pass-first (and second, and maybe even third) point guard, would be a younger version of Calderon. Washington point guard Tony Wroten is immensely talented, but he would be considered a gamble in the top 10. If Toronto looks to the frontcourt to find its scoring, it would do just fine taking Barnes or perhaps Ohio State's Jared Sullinger. Washington shooting guard Terrence Ross is expected to go in the lottery and could add some scoring depth on the wing, as is also the case with Duke shooting guard Austin Rivers or UConn shooting guard Jeremy Lamb.

Doug Gottlieb top 30 (insider) http://insider.espn.go.com/mens-college ... spects-ncb

1. Davis
2. Beal
3. Drummond
4. Barnes
5. White
6. Leonard
7. Jones III
8. Lillard
9. Zeller
10. Waiters
11. Sullinger
12. MKG
15. Robinson
16. Lamb
19. Henson
25. Machado
26. Marshall

I googled the history of his board the last few years and don't quite trust what I saw. In some cases he's been more right than the consensus (Faried top 6, Monroe top 3, Derrick Williams 7, Holliday top 3, and Kemba non top 15), in others horribly wrong going out on a limb (like putting Singleton and Vesely 4th and 5th, Babbitt 8th, Cousins 10th, Harden 10th). With that said even with the mistakes that probably puts him at a success rate close to or better than the real draft.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

If I were BC I would try to make that deal so quickly that I'd call Grunfeld to look out his office window and Ed would be on the sidewalk with his luggage.

Don't be too hasty, DD and Ed could share a cab.

Jimmies Rustled Lamb is 16th? This board got to calm down on expectations hyping up kids like Lamb to be a sure fired superstar. Glad I'm not the only one who is high on Royce White

Its just fine with me as I do prefer Barnes > MKG. MKG shot has red flags (limited offensive upside) and I was never a fan of T Rob

Royce White over Jeremy Lamb? Ell Oh Ell... Royce White won't even get on a plane some occasions, good luck with that. Not to mention Jeremy Lamb would eat his lunch on the court (not literally with Jeremy being a twig and Royce being a lardo).

Return to Toronto Raptors
