You are one of the only guys on this board defending Salmons. lol. JJ obviously was not shut down. He scored on Salmons as well. There were a couple of plays where Salmons did play good D. But that's all. Not good enough.

WHy soo much for Salmon? I mean Ross has been worse then Salmon and to frank we need Salmon and Field more then we need Ross out there ... Deron William is not gone hurt us and besides Lowry is good enough defender to slow him down, but JJ is hurting us alot ... because Demar can't guard him and it's unfair to ask Demar go hard at the offensive end and guard Nets best offensive weapon ... This is why we need more Field and Salmon to slow down JJ and give more fouls ...

Then Casey drank too much Vasquez in my humble and that is where things got ugly. Demar actually has more minutes than KL in this tilt which baffles me. KG and Pierce got a big rest tonight so no way we win tomorrow. Might as well skip it and wait for Game 7 at the ACC.

FIrst of all.

JV didnt do anything stupid on the last play. It was a backcourt violation and The whistle had already gone. Thats why he decided to knock the ball down.

AMir was the one dumb as **** today

One more thing that I loved - DeRozan's rebound with about 20 seconds left. That was a huge play, he just went up and got it!

Oh, and one more thing I don't like - Teletovic scares the hell out of me. Seems like that guy can score at any time from anywhere. We need to try to go at him on the other end to make him work. If they can get him into match ups with Val that would be ideal.

Not sure if serious. Do you watch basketball? You knock on a guy for his defense, but you don't knock on another guy who makes boneheaded offense plays not because of inability, but because of pure stupidity. Yes JJ was lighting it up, but he wasn't the only one. Teletovic, AA, etc. Shake my head. Don't go around calling people "bloody morons" when you aren't even right.

Landry?

If the Fish doesn't give you anything offensively, and its clear now he's not, Fields is the bigger, probably stronger player. The talk about "game of adjustments", The only difference I remember was the Fish trying to front Johnson.

On the other hand boy has Deron Williams fallen off. Right now he's getting ragged by Nets fans for playing with no heart. Glad we have a player that's totally the opposite of him.

Why is no one talking about JV? That goal tend was crazy. That would have being the WORST WORST way to lose the game if the ball was deflected to the backcourt. Just for the 0.0001% possibility, players should stop doing that. I'm having nightmares just thinking about what could have being.

I've watched every game in the NBA for the last 3 years. I have made a living off of gambling on the games, to the point that I quit my day job.

Well you must be pretty damn lucky up until this point, cause your remark was completely off point.

Rewatch the game, take off the hate goggles, and talk to me. I will watch it again, I always do.

Plus throwing the ball away, directly leading to a fastbreak/uncontested 2pts.

I admire your passion, and seriously hope we ride this thing all the way, but there are BIG reasons for concerns, Brooklyn is a team filled with veterans and the more they learn to make these 20+ pt come backs, the more difficult it becomes to close out the series because it means they are figuring out our team with each play. With that said, I seriously hope this was a one time thing, Casey shouldn't be a lock to come back next year, he`s got serious issues, but I support his overall body of work at the end of the day.

why do you keep saying theyre figuring out our team with each play??? WE'VE PLAYED THEM 5 TIMES IN A ROW! WE'VE PLAYED THEM 9 TIMES IN TOTAL THIS SEASON. EVERYONES ALREADY FIGURED EACH OTHER OUT! if the nets were so good, they wouldn't have gotten down by 26 in the first place! IT TOOK A BUNCH OF MIRACLE 3 AND 1 CALLS FROM THE REFS AND JOE JOHNSON DESTRUCTION TO GET THEM BACK IN THE GAME... And guess what? THEY STILL LOST! get over it man... seriously, fans need to wake the hell up... like i said, i hope none of these players have this mentality...... it's ridiculous...

Coming back from a 26 pt deficit within a span of 9 minutes to play is the definition of learning your opponent's game. The arguments that people are making is that this is a serious concern, not that the Nets are a better team, why is that so hard to grasp? We are up 3-2, not 3-0 or 3-1, a loss in BKN and this becomes a 50-50 game.

lol, i'm sorry, but the basis for your argument is just so absurd... so it's taken till game 5, of a game where they were absolutely dominated for 3 quarters to "figure out the raptors..." up until this game, the whole series has been tight... every play, every possession has been tight... the nets know how to play the raps.... jsut like the raps know how to play the nets... difference is, raps have more weapons and raptors are better... thats why they won and the nets didn't... i find it so ridiculous that after winning such a pivotal game and now being up 3-2, with home court advantage, i'm having debates with fans about WHY THEY MIGHT LOSE THE NEXT GAME... **** THAT! HAVE SOME PERSPECTIVE! we're in the driver's seat now... history is in our favour... we're a better team. stop **** feeling sorry for yourselves and for the team... WE'RE UP... WE'RE GOING FOR THE CLINCH IN BROOKLYN! **** BROOKLYN! RAPS IN 6!!!!!!!
