Crowder makes the Cavs wayyyyy better than IT does. Anything IT gives them is a bonus. Lebron is the point and Rose was 18 4 n 4 playing with Melo n Porzingas last year. Cavs have plenty of shooters, again Crowder, and when they get wade, IT will become even less needed.

Just need IT to miss the year, someone to take one for the team and kidnap lebron, give kyrie irving and hayward food poisoning, and raptors might have a shot to lose to the wizards in the second round

While I understand Crowder is incredibly valuable to the Cavs because he can take on some defensive assignments for LeBron which should help his energy there's no way I would say he makes the Cavs "wayyyyy" better than IT does.

It's equally important that LeBron has some to carry the scoring load and also to come through in clutch moments.

Not to mention it would have been of even more beneficial if both IT/Crowder were available because they were 2 of the main cogs of a 1st place EC Boston team with IT being the leader. That would have been of tremendous help if LeBron could actually get more rest each game and throughout the season since the 2 of them should have been able to carry the team without a steep decline like what the Cavs would suffer anytime LBJ was off the court. In contrast now that IT is hurt for possibly majority of the season LeBron is going to be forced to carry the Cavs even more offensively this year.

Boston might be the softest team in the league now. They are going to get bullied by everyone.

I wouldn't be surprised if Silver got involved and told both parties to get their act together because the whole thing was becoming a circus.

Bullied by who? They have Marcus Morris, Aaron baynes, Marcus smart, those three alone makes our teAm look like pansies. Who's the tough guy on our team? Serge ibaka? Same guy that got 3 total rebound in the last two games of the season combined?

I have zero doubt that Silver was loving all the extra attention the NBA was getting over this past week.

He's been on trash on D the past year and a half and people are understating just how serious IT's hip is.

Lool real talks, all about the attention, extra story lines, and ratings. You can't be serious, this is an entertainment product first and foremost.

This is a ridiculous statement. Sure we won't be as tough as last year, but were probably middle of the pack now as compared to the rest of the league. Smart and Morris are tougher than anybody y'all have.

Boston fans seem pretty happy, but I just don't see them as a clear better team than us. If anything we are much deeper. As long as Cleveland has Lebron they are legit contenders to win the East but as it stands right now they've never been in such disarray.

Could be a fun season if we stay healthy

Incorrect, they are a MUCH deeper team then we are. We have WAY better stars though.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Crowder has become quite overrated imo, especially defensively. He's far from the stopper some make him out to be. Demar, for example, always kills the guy. That said, the Cavs could clearly use even an average defender w/ some versatility after what happened to them in the Finals, so he's a nice get for sure.

However, IT running the PnR w/ Love, TT, Bron is far more valuable than anything Crowder can provide.
