be happy pascal, OG, and lowry increased their trade value, pick up some new fresh player and picks, and watch the tank plow forward

Fair. Good to know the schadenfreudes have a plan

Ah the irony of exuding ones own constant displeasure and saying everyone else is upset

It honestly makes me laugh people spend their days so bothered by what is said on RGM

I didn't know chronic depression blocked the ability to detect sarcasm.

Absolutely. Lowry ASAP (wolves pick and Wiggins) Powell at the deadline for an expiring deal and pick in the teens

FA/Boucher
Siakam/OG
Wiggins/pick
(Top 5) hopefully Cade/Davis
FVV/Flynn

Right, so you double down on it and then say it was sarcasm.

Yikes, swing and a miss.

The good thing about the new draft rules is the odds for finishing in last place are not that much greater than finishing fourth. As long as we finish in one of those lower spots we get a very good shot at finishing with a top 3 pick.

That’s true but at the same time getting the worst record means the worst possible scenario is 4th pick while getting the 4th worst record could drop you to like 7th potentially

There will be better days my friends. Can't lose them all. On the bright side hopefully this increases the value of the Raptors trade assets.

This our chance to get a superstar. I will be so mad if we lose this chance cause we make the playoffs as the 8th seed

I think we could get 3 FRP in the 20s by just dealing Kyle, Norm, and Boucher in separate deals this season

I think it would likely max at 2, but one can hope!

Lowry can definitely garner a 1st round pick by himself and some solid filler (if not another protected pick/2nds).

I don't think Norm and Boucher can gain much beyond 2nd's and a C+ prospect on their own, but maybe together you could get something more. Getting rid of all 3 would help the tank immensely.

I feel some borderline contenders could get desperate enough. Teams like the Mavs or Jazz. Bouchers per 36min stats are pretty damn good so far (23,10 and almost 4 blocks) and on a very good contract

A Norm/Boucher package would actually fit quite well on the Mavs, the problem is that I believe their 2021 pick is going to the Knicks. Maybe you can get a 2023 pick or something, but it would have to be heavily protected. Utah has Favors and Clarkson so not sure they would have much interest.

Just doing a quick perusal...

I could see Brooklyn, Indiana, Denver, and Portland having the right mix of need and some assets to get it done.

With Covid going around and alot of guys missing games a lot of teams that want to compete could use a guy like Norm. A team like Boston needs bench depth, although their rookie Pritchard has recently stepped up. Ainge is pretty stingy with his picks though lol.

Everyone saying the sixers but the most obvious trade is the jazz for me. Conley has been really bad for them and Kyle would definitely be an upgrade this season.

For us, Conley is also an expiring this year preserving our cap space for the summer. If we get a frp in that deal I’d do it.

Jazz are also enough of a contender to where I don’t think Lowry would complain going there.

Conleys actually been pretty good this season so far. He struggled last season but he’s fine now. I don’t think Utah would do a trade for Kyle, especially if they had to give up a pick. I could see them wanting Boucher or Norm though. Boucher could be a nice backup to Gobert and playing with Favors off the bench would help Boucher by not having to body against the beefy bigs

I think Philly is assumed because Lowry is from Philly, and would probably sign with them. Plus they have their pick, couple of prospects in Maxey/Thybulle and salaries to match. Other teams probably give up less knowing he will probably not sign.

Yeah I actually didn’t realize that Conley was actually having a pretty decent season so far. He could go through a rough patch tho and that could all change.

What could we get for norm or Boucher? I don’t think jazz would be willing to give up a frp for bench players.

norm can def get something back. clips have no bench; i think by trade deadline they would be willing to part with zubac.
