They say if he stayed in college another year he would have been a lotto pick in 2022. So quite possibly wasn’t a reach.

The skill level with Flynn is definately there but he isn't super fast (for a guard) and is also kind of on the smallish side.....he'll need to get stronger for his game to translate consistently at NBA level. Looking forward to seeing his development over the next couple of years.

I know it is not one to one to compare the two but Scottie and Patrick Williams could have similar career arcs.

I thought Patrick Williams had superstar vibes last draft and was really hoping we could some how get him. His knocks were that he couldn't shoot that well, looked a bit slow on film, and that he was mainly a defensive prospect. Another one of those Florida State defenders that could end up 3 and D.

But, if you dug deep on Williams you'd know he was guard in high school and he had skills that were underused in Florida State, just like Barnes to some degree. Look at how big Pat Will is now and see one of the dribble pull-up moves he can pull off in year two:

Scottie could be even better in year two. Scary potential.

What Williams develops into is gonna determine whether or not the Bulls just went all in on a treadmill or a contender imo

Not sure whether having all those high usage guys around him is good or bad for his offensive development. Could see it going either way

He just needs his teammates to trust him and the ball in his hands. Thats the thing about giving out big contracts after those are handed out players gotta live up to them and they end up forcing the issue to get their numbers. I think thats one thing Lowry has never been shy about doing and one thing that has been passed on throughout the team and Van Vleet and Siakam did alot of that last year which is why they were so inefficient.

The big step this year would be seeing what we really have with Van Vleet and Siakam. If we aren't winning we already have Flynn and Barnes as replacements developing and those two can bring in a boatload of assets for future drafts. That being said I think the team is going to be very good and competitive in the East.

Patrick Williams is like 3 weeks younger than Barnes. Same birth month and year. Both went to the same college, both wore number 4 in college. Pretty cool to see.

Less pressure for him, but you could see a Jerami Grant situation where he wanted more of a role and left Denver to get it. I don't think you can stop this man from becoming an absolute monster. Look at him now.

At the age of 16, three summers ago, Green measured 6 foot 4 without shoes, and 6 foot 5 in shoes. I think he has probably grown an inch since that time, so 6 foot 6 in shoes is most likely. However, he is still 180 pounds, and needs to put on extra weight to deal with the bigger shooting guards/small forwards he will be matching up with.

Why are you trying to use 3 year old high school measurements to guess what his height is now when there was literally a draft combine a couple of months back that measured every prospect with the same "official" standards? Who knows how that high school measurement was done, accurate it was, or whether they rounded up to make him look better as a prospect?

Green did not get measured in the combine.

true, 2nd best game. Hornets had 2 great drafts in a row. Still can't they got Bouknight and Kai Jones while playing in the play in tourny this year?

That's a great year imo
