I would love to draft one of Sharpe, Bates, Wembanyama, in 2023 but I agree in that by next year we should have another stud on the roster from this upcoming draft. Plus guys like OG, Siakam, Barnes will have a year of experience playing as a trio. We probably won't be bad enough to tank a third year in a row.

Plus a core of OG, Barnes, and mystery 2022 lotto player should be a good foundation to build on. Barnes has that superstar potential.

A combo guard who can create in the halfcourt off the bench makes a lot of sense for our team. If his numbers are significantly better than Lamelo, Hampton's and Giddey's (with him being 20 and those guys 18) he certainly makes sense for the roster.

right now we are tied for the 11th pick but Indiana and Portland should overtake us so we are probably talking about the 9th or 10th pick.

I think we are looking at Mathurin, Baldwin or McGowens here.

I'm pretty sure we've been without OG the past three weeks as well as other key rotation players. This key detail seems to be ignored on a frequent basis. I wonder why.

Not only that but isn't DD the only guy out? Last night, Lavine, Ball, Vuc and Caruso played. Did more players enter covid protocols from their team today?

No offense but there is no logical explanation as to why Indiana would overtake us. We've been somehow maintaining a near .500 record despite being ravaged by injuries and playing our G-league team off the bench.

Portland was a .500 team with a healthy lineup so thinking they will overtake us is far from a guarantee. And even if they did there are teams ahead of us that will likely drop down in the standings.
