Like I said coach is not as important to me as moving certain players. Once those players have been dealt with then I'm good with whoever. I believe once we establish a more team first culture with Scottie as the focal point (his natural playstyle is to move the ball and play the right way) we will start being more fun to watch.

Those article quotes on Atkinson participating in scrimmages is legendary stuff. I want the guy just on the analytics alone, but him running point during practice and getting dunked on is like a whole other level of crazy attention to detail stuff.

Also pushing for the France job with no pay - a page out of Masai's book.

I pity the man who inherits our current mess of unevaluated young "talent".

That Dough Smith article is hilarious.

He has no intel with Raptors. Says Jordi and Nash are out but goes out of his way multiple times to say they might be back in at some point if they change their mind on others.

Just quit old man, you’re embarrassing yourself. Wait for the press release like the rest of us.

It's crazy that someone as useless as him has been employed for so long. He's literally never broken a story but instead has pretended to know about team Intel only to be proven wrong every single time.

Its terrible all through to the end. He doesn't even have much of a clue what the team will or should do. Let go of all three free agents? Lol.

May 11-June 13, 2018 Casey firing to Nurse hiring
April 21-? Nurse firing to ? hiring

It has taken longer this time but that is probably just a function of the earlier playoff dismissal this year. Still I’d be shocked if the process extends beyond the June 13 date it ended last time.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Isn't the likeliest answer for the wait that we want Quinn or Adelman and because they're young guys who've never been head coaches (unlike Mike Brown) those guys want to wait until the finals end and then the intensive interview process can start?

Atkinson's teams were always a pain to play against even though they didn't have much talent. They could make up the talent gap by playing sound team ball w/ good effort. .

People have taken jobs while working another before. Mike Brown took the Kings job while Warriors were still playing. Maybe Sergio doesn’t feel comfortable because he’s a head coach but I think the most likely reason is the Raptors front office takes a long time making decisions on everything.

FYI - MEM fired J.B. Bickerstaff on Apr. 12 and only hired Taylor Jenkins on Jun. 11.Length of time to reach a decision has nothing to do with the quality of the decision and you never know how it will work out for the better part of the next season. There were some on here that 3 months into the season declared that Ime Udoka was the worst coach in the league.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Yeah I mentioned Brown, but I think that situation is different because he was a vet who had been a head coach on high profile teams. It's probably different when it's a young guy.

Will Hardy was hired on June 29th of last year, for instance, 13 days after the finals ended.

Well Nick was hired on June 14th. Still got another week of evaluating. Hoping for something like Doug Smith

At least Gretz has championship DNA.

Has Will pulled out of the process yet? That is when you know the announcement of the hire is coming.
