Queen not in the top10 doesn't pass the smell test.

Queen is at 11. Some may see CMB as a safer pick who can contribute right away both offensively and defensively. Not impossible.

I am also surprised Knueppel over Queen with all these talk that people want another C next to Wemby.

Based on those Spurs picks on guards, I would not surprise they prefer athletic guards over shooting base guards. But the change on their head coach may change things

He has not shown enough to have a position yet, let alone in a system.

He either needs to be strong and physical enough to play forward, or show enough shooting and driving to play guard.

Assuming we don't win the lottery give me a trade back for Flemming and Bryant. I'm a big believer in both of these guys. Sorber is also interesting if we want a defensive anchor and passer in the front court to eventually replace Yak.

He hasn’t shown much of anything but my brain won’t let me be unhappy if we pick him. In fact, I’d adore the selection

I like Jase's catch and shoot numbers and his ability to run around screens and play within an offense.

I do too. He's also really good at the rim, unlike similar-sized lottery prospects like Edgecombe and Fears. Although it's very hard to tell how much of that is just single season small sample noise from all three in those numbers. Still, I like Jase's approach when he gets into the paint, so I tend to believe it'll remain a strength for him.

I have Richardson higher than most draft, but behind Tre Johnson and Fears.

He will need to develop more PG skills. His passing rate is not at the PG level, so he does not have the size for his position. Tre Johnson and Fears are more complete having a position on both end and should be a net positive.

Maluach is so poor fundamentally. I think he'd be a total whiff. Mobility is worthless if you're always out of position.

I have highlight tape bias towards Walter Clayton Jr. Prolific shot-making.

This isn't the way I hope the draft goes (I am hoping we have a shot at Fears or Johnson), but this is one of the most accurate looking mocks to date. Aside from Queen (who I think could go higher....but who knows). Queen is a tough one to project. Workouts could make or break him. Teams will be expecting him to.produce from day one & may not view him as an "upside" pick.

Could have sworn everyone including Scheyer praised him for his positioning this year and stated how rare it is to see an 18 y/o as fundamentally sound as him.

Yeah, I think Maluach shows good discipline defensively, which is rare for a player with as limited experience as he has.

Nike Hoop Summit measurements just came in and Bogoljub Markovic measured at 6-11 in shoes with a 6-11 wingspan and a 9-0 standing reach and 217 lbs.

He is probably my favorite stretch big option in the class. I do think he can play some small-ball C, but he will play PF and even a bit of SF. I see some real wing like capabilities in his game. Here he is putting up 14 against Partizan, at 23-3 the number one team in the ABA and a .500 team in the Euroleague.

He obviously needs to hit the weight room, but he could end up like a Nikola Jovic from Miami. When does Toronto bring in a Serbian protégé for Darko and could this guy be the player? Worth our second rounder.

6'11 player who will be 20 in July current averages:
13.7/6.7/2.6 and just under a block and steal per game
Shooting: 53/39/76

I think I saw a post that he declared for the draft. I think Masai was in Europe scouting him. Could be in play with our second round pick.

I hadn't seen it made official, but I hope he does come out this year. Markovic and Johnni Broome have been at the top of my 2nd rd pick wishlist all year. Bennett Stirtz joined them a few weeks ago. Markovic does so much well, and just knows how to play the game. Ridiculously underrated considering how productive he's been.

Yeah not sure what that poster was seeing, maybe just watched a bad game. Khaman got better as the year went in, & if the poster thinks he's not fundamentally sound, maybe it's because he just started playing basketball like 5yrs ago. In 5yrs he went from unknown to starting on a Duke team 1 win and 20 seconds away from a NCAA title.

Khaman instantly improves our
Offensive rebounding(which is already a + 4 us)
Vertical Spacing (desperately needed)
Rim protection
Screening
Bench 5 man spot
Overall defense

It took us so long to find a starting 5 and we've also been looking for a stable back-up 5 for just as long
