Cmb giving up a lot of offensive rebounds is something i noticed in summer league through to preseason.

1 rebound today starting at center and the team got demolished on the glass.

Looks like he goes for the boxout over the rebound on the defensive end which works if everyone else boxes out too.

He is definitely a starter. We should turn Ingram and Barnes into strictly wings. If we got a real defensive top 10 big in the league the defense would be completely different.

I think we need to bench RJ, potentially use him as a back up PG and start CMB next to Poeltl. I believe in his 3pt shot and I think it's here to stay, I hope he keep firing away.

Maybe not this season but that could be a pretty deadly future lineup.

After the starters are negatives for the first 10-20 games this will come up. CMB is easily a starter in the NBA, I think he should be starting immediately. He could end up being in the running for ROTY, he is that good.

We haven't even let him use his handle to attack the paint yet. When we play a team with a weaker front court we will probably see Mamu/CMB dominate. CMB has a lethal first step for a forward and he has a decent handle. I'm surprised we haven't gotten him to use it more.

It's possible but you're completely downplaying the impact of a hobbled Yak.

His 3’s has been a pleasant surprise but I hope we get way more driving attempts moving forward.

That’s his bread and butter and our team really needs rim pressure via drives.

I think he may already be a better NBA player than Dick. Not a high bar, I know, but still notable.

He might be better than everyone on our bench.

It was a tactical mistake to start him given how the whistle has gone against us this year, but I enjoyed seeing the 3s go in on a decently smooth release.

How about Scottie leading the team in 3pt made? A lot of people insisted they don't want to see Barnes taking threes anymore.

The last 2 full games CMB played he's been just as good if not better offensively while having a big impact defensively

He might even be a better 3 point shooter...which is crazy when you think about it.

I wish people on this board would start seeing the difference in 3pt shot diets. CMB is getting wide open looks while being dared to shoot. Gradey doesn't get that type of space or time to shoot the ball.

That being said, I was just thinking how CMB is probably making a case for being our 4th best player already.

Oh no, I don't think that at all. I'm not sure I'd choose anyone on our roster over Dick to take an open three. His form looks very smooth... free throws are automatic. That said, the moment his shot gets mildly contested his percentages drop real fast.

Ultimately I think CMB will replace RJ as our starting SF. I don’t think RJ is here long term and he’s the easiest person to move. Need CMB’s shooting to keep advancing

Battle is a better open 3 point shooter then Dick and is probably better in a spot minute role. Dick is better all around offensively but he isn't better then Barnes, Ingram on Barret so he is not useful with current roster construction. There is so much redundant 2/3 depth on this team with Agbaji/Walter and Dick/Battle and then you have Lawson on a two way who can also give you minutes.
