Barrett has been our best player people want to trade him…

Does Scottie have a shooting pocket

Blaming IQ because Scottie bricked a 3 (something he does 71% of the time)

this is his 5th season if he still hasn’t figured it out now…

Honestly man, are we forgetting this is a max player? The guy we called the franchise? It s absolutely unacceptable how horrible he’s playing. In fact I’m surprised people are so nonchalant about it

Taking the shots when they come, but is basically trying get everyone incorporated. It's pre-season.

It's sort like when we got IQ and RJ

This high pick up pressure defence all game is so gimmicky, good teams will pick it apart easily, i give it about 10 games before we go back to traditional

I’m not even talking about that… just look at that take it just screams no feel. He’s still taking off too early and forcing up wild shots. That take should not have been that awkward.

Team does not look good…

If Gradey can’t hit the 3 at a good clip, he’s not going to have a long career in this league.

IQ contract is terrible.

there's no reason scottie can't be a good screener. He's got the size for it

Screening is a skill. If it was easy, Scottie would be able to do it by now.

After his rookie season it was obvious his best role was gonna be in a PF type role but we had to waste time watching him try to be a PG lol

Watching Ingram next to Barnes and it's clear All-Star selections aren't all the same

Maybe Ingram can play point guard for us too we really don’t have a lot of options there
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

One thing I agree with is that taking him away from the ball makes him a worse player on offence. He should be scoring opportunistically only but he’s not a garbage man either. That takes away what he’s good at which is reading the floor. The fact remains that the team tends to walk away with a good shot when he’s involved in the offence (and he’s not looking for his own shot lol).
are we not concerned about how hard It is to make a max player look good? You sign players to the max because you know what they provide and they’re supposed to make others better. The fact we’re discussing ways to make Barnes look good as the max player is a huge red flag

Of course it's a concern. Hard for it not to be after the year he just had.

He’s one of (if not the) most consistent offensive player on this team and he gets shat on all the time. Yes his d is questionable

And then we have Barnes who can’t throw a rock into a lake and everyone’s hanging onto some miracle that he’ll figure it out after 5 years
