You can 100% be a fan of other teams and players. 95% of your posts about a center on the Pelicans... on the raptors boards... is something else.

95 % of posts is a little dramatic there buddy? ....I am posting in a general board discussion which is about OTHER players around the NBA idk if you can read thread titles?....Also just because you are a board mod you can not tell people what they can and can not post about if they are not breaking any rules..

Kinda weird behaviour...

So his "95%" comment is a little dramatic yet your "whole board was wrong about him" regarding Queen, isn't?

There were certainly fans of Queen pre-draft. And certainly some over CMB. No need to pretend you were the lone soul.

Never said i was the "Only one" but there were very few Queen advocates on the board and on Reddit as well....Many said he will not be a good player and lots of premature bad takes on him....Me and maybe 3-5 posters were strongly advocating for Queen....I know you were one of the Queen haters though so thats a funny post coming from you...But yeah i was not the only Queen fan but to say there were alot of Queen fans here is funny to me especially if you go back and read the draft threads....You would think Queen is Anthony Bennett or something with the way people were talkin about him...

Queen is a big reason Pelicans are actually winning games right now....But while thats happening you still have people here saying hes bad at basketball....Its funny to me.

I was a Hater?

"That's where my hesitation with Queen comes in. Yeah he could bully some college guys since he is older and has extra weight on, but in the NBA, is he the one getting bullied, especially if he loses some weight getting in better shape"

Someone said that his motor was a red flag and compared him to Ware, I said "Didn't Ware have the same red flag last draft?

If you draft Queen it's because you believe you can get him more focused on fitness, defense, and not taking plays off."

"With Queen, I have these reservations.
He carries extra weight on his body right now and gets away with it. But what happens next?

If he sheds weight and gets more toned, does he become a PF that doesn't shoot well or defend the best?

Or if he keeps the weight, will he be a C that has good handles, but big C's dominate him."

"The good thing if we grab Queen, he immediately plugs a hole in the 2nd unit and you still have the upside. But he is more ready to be a positive player vs Maluach or likely any of the guards.

And you could experiment with playing him and Yak together to see how that meshes...which is likely good because everyone plays well with Yak it seems.

I just hope we enter next season with a legit good backup C"

Hell PRE-LOTTERY, I told 76ers fans this:

"Queen seems like a good fit for you guys.
Can contribute right away.
Can play C when Embiid sits or misses games
Can play with Embiid since Embiid can stretch the floor.
Good for "small ball""

So I wouldn't exactly call me a hater...lol. If you were to look at my reasoning on who I thought they would pick, it was Coward. I never hated Queen. I had reservations on would he get exploited defensively. His offense always looked good. He just knew how to play at that end.

Certainly wasn't a hater considering I was telling 76ers guys I know he would be a good pick for them when they were picking 5.

Queen still hasn’t answered many of the questions people had about him. We knew he could score, we knew he could pass. Question is can he develop a three and can he adequately defend his position.

Hawks lost again. There is just something off with Jalen Johnson. Puts up incredible stat lines but something missing. Can’t be losing to the Hornets, Bulls (2x) in one week.

12-19 overall, but what, 7-4 over their last 11? Utah took them to OT, which is embarrassing, but they won. And they beat Denver twice.

Flagg's been a roughly 24/6/5 player on 60.6% TS in December (past 10 games), which has been really nice to see.

If Kyrie can come back healthy and slot in well to what they're doing in the new year, that'd be really interesting.

Yea like I can see the organization convincing themselves that if kyrie comes back they can be a serious threat

Every possible solution except the correct one, which is to flatten the lottery odds. And draw for every position, not just the top 4.

Teams don't just tank to win the lottery, they tank to 100% guarantee a top 5 pick. That guarantee shouldn't exist.

Would teams still tank out of the playoffs/play-in to keep lottery picks, sure. But they'd be doing that with better rosters and sacrificing playoff revenue - fewer ownerships would give that mandate.

The problem with this is that there needs to be some level of hope for teams who aren't successful because they can't attract free agents and simply don't have the talent, right? That's the whole point of the lottery in the first place. Teams will game the system regardless, but if you don't have the lottery, you'll end up with stuff like a team winning the title and then grabbing the first overall pick, right? So you'll have to add in considerations for those types of situations, too.

I expect Cleveland to move up the standings towards top quickly now that they are healthy....

OG. 15, 5 @46% for the season for Knicks $40 mil. Thoughts on the trade since then?
... IQ,RJ or OG, what say you?

My stance hasn’t changed
It’s win win trade for both teams. OG would be overpaid on any other team but he fits that team like a glove so the overpayment is probably worth it to them. They also made ECF last year and are finals contenders this year.

Nice to see Kolek get some playing time lately. I really liked him on draft night.

How in the world did Mitchell hit that 3. Where were his feet?

Sensation start to the X-max slate.

Love watching Mitchell and Brunson. Both are superstars. (Wish we had one)

Mobley is one of the most overrated players in the league. Barely impacted the game. Invisible today.

Kolek got everything you want in a back up guard.

3 ball, automatic paint touch and can be a pesky POA defender.

Knicks got a good one, I imagine this was the vision for Malachi Flynn.
