Everyone saying the sixers but the most obvious trade is the jazz for me. Conley has been really bad for them and Kyle would definitely be an upgrade this season.

For us, Conley is also an expiring this year preserving our cap space for the summer. If we get a frp in that deal I’d do it.

Jazz are also enough of a contender to where I don’t think Lowry would complain going there.

Conleys actually been pretty good this season so far. He struggled last season but he’s fine now. I don’t think Utah would do a trade for Kyle, especially if they had to give up a pick. I could see them wanting Boucher or Norm though. Boucher could be a nice backup to Gobert and playing with Favors off the bench would help Boucher by not having to body against the beefy bigs

Yeah I actually didn’t realize that Conley was actually having a pretty decent season so far. He could go through a rough patch tho and that could all change.

What could we get for norm or Boucher? I don’t think jazz would be willing to give up a frp for bench players.

They don’t really have any interesting young players other than Mitchell who’s obviously not available.

Gobert is 28 and locked into a new big contract so o think this is their window to start seriously competing. They don’t really have the luxury of the Celtics in having a huge window so they might get desperate enough to add some strong depth. Guess we’ll have to see where they stand by the deadline. Boucher would be a nice addition for them but Norm wouldn’t be much of a priority for them since they already have Clarkson coming off the bench

I didn't know chronic depression blocked the ability to detect sarcasm.

Right, so you double down on it and then say it was sarcasm.

Yikes, swing and a miss.

What part of this kind of response to you is hard for you to understand. I've had you on ignore forever yet you think you're going to get a different response when you reply to me.

I'm going to give you the same thing every time you quote me. And no it doesn't bother me. It just amuses me that you keep trying.

Vitamin D might help for your SAD btw.

It’s sad that people use a forum as a means to trivialize mental health because they don’t have any good answers to anything they say.

But what is lost is the irony of using it as a tool to put others down and not seeing that using a forum to pontificate your hubris would likely dictate that maybe one shouldn’t be deflecting away their inner demons.

Then again - I don’t claim to be an armchair psychologist on the internet

Is this what gets you through your day. Trying to win arguments here and then when you’re wrong you claim the other person is depressed because hoping to get a high draft pick equates to depression

Oh - if only you knew what you were saying and what it really implies.

But of course - the dishonesty and denial of truths has become the norm here.

Don’t worry - I already know of the standard response you’ll give.

Good luck to you. You’ll definitely need it.

I see Team “Positive” now has thrown out the following to those who want to TWO:

-they are homosexuals
-they are idiots
-they have chronic depression
-made fun of their sexual identification

I wish I could be on Team “Positive”, it seems like they’re indeed happier in life.

Tank is in trouble

All the good teams ahead of us are staring to lose and sit out players for injuries/covid and the loses will come in. If we manage to pull together some wins and make up ground it will only get worse

I’m disgusted at the insults simply because of a difference of opinion. I have no choice but to report these posts from the usual suspects.

The good teams will maintain. Imagine if our guys start to quarantine. It'll be like tanking on steroids.

Hopefully cause it's gonna be very deceiving record wise and give a lot of false confidence.
We're a well run team though, and aside from TD or norm I can't really see anyone being dumb enough to be around covid people/situations but we could be put in that by facing other teams

I'd suggest both of you to stop engaging with one another. It is simply unnecessary and derailing the whole thread. Next one will result in a warning.

We've always been great at beating up on bad teams and I'm worried with all the covid cases that we start get more Ws than expected now lol

Just praying we can somehow stay in the top 7-8.

Last night the tank took a hit, that landmine should have been disarmed.

Some of you must be new to tanking. Now I am all for acquiring assets and putting the team in a position to get a higher draft pick. But I'm not going to get emotionally invested in some supposed tank dreaming of a top 5 pick. Take a look at the standings and it seems there will be numerous tanking contestants. Voluntarily or not.

Last night was a fun win. The guys getting paid showed up. It's not just getting a top 5 pick but also developing and improving the players you have. If this team completely plummets, which I'm totally fine with btw, there would likely be costs.

Like perhaps:
Flynn not playing well (FRP)
TD with no improvement perhaps
Norm plays lousy, stays a year
Recent signees to big contracts play below expectations.

TLDR: I'm not stressing. If they win and the team is showing improvements with the young players etc that's good and entertaining. If the team plummets bring on the lottery pick.

last game was fun because there are some stakes in it. Even if we did win in the end, the game was fun to watch because I actually cared about the result.

Now a single L would have been meaningless. But it doesnt take away from the fact we are moving in the right direction. Just. a little stumble that's all.

Last season was fun until you realized they had no chance. This year we can finally start building instead of stalling the inevitable.

Damn i find myself rooting against the Raptors now cause i seen all i need to see that our top guys on this team are fools gold...Its going to suck seeing us make our way back into the 6th,7th,8th seed which is prolly gonna happen and then get destroyed in a playoff series and keep this cycle of mediocrity going for another few years till we realize we just don't have the right players to compete for anything....If we just started the Tank now maybe we would have put together back to back draft picks to be as good as Tatum/Brown type duo talent ....Instead we are going to miss out on multiple star type players for this bad Siakam led team

I'm confused why some ppl would not want a shot at a legit superstar when you the one that shts on raptor fans by being self righteous on the GB. Id rather not be stuck in no man's land like Colan jello teams. We have a great opportunity to have flexibility this summer while having a top lottery pick. I rather our team gather the assets and make a play for a superstar that will be with us long term whether it's through a trade or more preferably, try the draft method which we haven't in a long time.

Andrew Wiggins almost costed us that game with his horrendous defense
