Everyone saying the sixers but the most obvious trade is the jazz for me. Conley has been really bad for them and Kyle would definitely be an upgrade this season.
For us, Conley is also an expiring this year preserving our cap space for the summer. If we get a frp in that deal I’d do it.
Jazz are also enough of a contender to where I don’t think Lowry would complain going there.
Conleys actually been pretty good this season so far. He struggled last season but he’s fine now. I don’t think Utah would do a trade for Kyle, especially if they had to give up a pick. I could see them wanting Boucher or Norm though. Boucher could be a nice backup to Gobert and playing with Favors off the bench would help Boucher by not having to body against the beefy bigs
Yeah I actually didn’t realize that Conley was actually having a pretty decent season so far. He could go through a rough patch tho and that could all change.
What could we get for norm or Boucher? I don’t think jazz would be willing to give up a frp for bench players.
They don’t really have any interesting young players other than Mitchell who’s obviously not available.
Gobert is 28 and locked into a new big contract so o think this is their window to start seriously competing. They don’t really have the luxury of the Celtics in having a huge window so they might get desperate enough to add some strong depth. Guess we’ll have to see where they stand by the deadline. Boucher would be a nice addition for them but Norm wouldn’t be much of a priority for them since they already have Clarkson coming off the bench
