George hill + Seth + Maxey + 1st for Lowry
Then Philly could move Ben for CJ
Lowry / CJ / Thybulle / Tobias / Embiid
Then we take those parts from the Lowry deal and make a Trade for a 5.
Christian Wood or Porzingas or Mo Bamba

You think Myles Turner has more potential to raise the ceiling of our franchise over one of Suggs or Green?

As long as we are building around FVV, OG and Siakam..we have to keep building on our strength. Those 3 are some of the best defenders in their respective positions in the entire league. I would much rather add a young, long and athletic Stretch 5 with DPOY potential (with playoff experience) to that core, to keep building on our strength.

The number 1 issue with this team is half-court scoring and your solution is to add Turner? Wtf are we even trying to accomplish at that point? Mediocrity? Treadmilling?
Are you even watching the playoffs? DPOY Gobert & All-Defensive Simmons just got exposed on another level. Building around defense-only players is not getting you anywhere in the playoffs if they can't score for s***

I should have bolded the Stretch 5 part.

Who is our offensive engine? FVV and post surgery Pascal? Myles Turner is going to be a scorer for us after failing at that for years in Indiana? I think you are heavily overvaluing him and his trade stock in the league. Gordon Hayward isn't worth the 4th pick in the draft and the Pacers were ready to gift wrap him and McDermott for the corpse of Hayward coming off a bad playoffs and an injury.
Still zero elite creators from the guard/wing with your plan. We literally would set ourselves up to not win now and hope and pray our late lotto picks that we exchanged our amazing 4th pick for aren't as raw as they look coming into the league.

Like I think the Pacers take Gary Trent for Turner and don't even blink. The 4th pick in the draft???
Edit: Myles isn't a high volume 3pt shooter. He is at 34% 2 years in a row, his career high at 38% being on 2.5 attempts per game. He can anchor a defense and I would trade Trent and a pick for him but the 4th pick is worth an all star player right now.
If we do trade Trent for Turner I'm not made at FVV/Suggs/OG/Pascal/Turner

You have to think GS is going to be very active on the trade front. Disappointing Wiseman is going to pressure them to acquire more experienced players. Their 2 lottery picks have to be available.

Would clevland be interested in a siakam for 3 deal given that the available options aren’t going to be great fits for them?
Would New Orleans be interested in 4, fvv for Ingram, 10?
It would be great if we could turn fvv and siakam into younger assets that will fit with OG long term moving forward.

I have tremendous faith in CNN's ability to maximize the talent of his players. Faith that grew even more when I saw Birch look like a totally different player. I can only imagine what CNN will do to a young talent like Myles Turner. Our core is improving offensively as well individually.
In February, in a span of 20 days, we beat Brooklyn, Milwaukee2X and Philly. We were 4th seed then we know the rest ( looking at these playoffs, reaching the Conference Finals/NBA finals would have been in sight.)
Next season, there would be nothing 'imminent' with that 4th pick as a contributor. We can't wait #tradethepick

End up with 8th pick + 13th and Myles Turner.

I've long been an advocate for acquiring Turner. I actually wanted to trade this pick if we stayed at 7 or moved back, which was the likeliest outcome. But now, it's not a move I would make.
We're guarantee to get one of Suggs, Green or Mobley at this point and all 3 of them look like they could be franchise guys. I wouldn't give that up for Myles Turner, especially when you consider the talent gap between the Top 5 and the rest of the draft.
I don't believe Turner is enough to make up for that.
Very interesting. But I will need further evidence to see what you see regarding the' Franchise guys' status. I just don't see it right now.
Could you really turn down 4th pick for 8th pick + 13th and Myles Turner(just turned 25)?
It's tempting - I won't lie to you. I really, really like Myles Turner and think that Nurse can help him elevate his game.
But the disparity between the talents and 1-5 and the rest of the draft is massive IMO. There is a very real possibility that 8th and 13th are projects that don't pan out.
So the question in my mind is - do we go with the guy who has the highest chance (no matter how small that chance might be) or do we add a starting C and maybe nothing else?
It's a hard one but as of right now, I'd take Suggs UNLESS there is an incredible deal we're going to get for a package around 8th and 13.

If you see the Raptors + Turner as a finals contender we are speaking from 2 completely differnt POVs. I don't think we are even close and it would be foolish to mortgage the future for Turner when that won't change anything in the present. We still wouldn't be up there with Philly, Hawks, Nets let alone the juggernauts in the West with zero all nba candidates on our roster.

Same core 2nd best overall record last season and were 4th in the east despite playing all games on the road (until we know...) They already have Lamb who while older, is cheaper and plays a similar role.

The Pacers will def trade one of either Turner or Sabonis, according to Pacers fans.
They're not a good fit together and they have Goga who apparently is too good to be on the bench.

What is so special about Suggs? He is not elite in anything. not even an elite 3pt shooter for Today's NBA. not an elite scorer. He has regular size for a combo guard.
How does he match up against a Trae Young|Lillard|Kyrie|Fox|Ja for example? How does he matchup against Collin Sexton ?

Can't see New Orleans being interested in any deal that sends Ingram out.
I have to imagine the overall goal would be to ADD to a core of young stars that are Ingram and Zion. The only guy/best player that I can see them moving is Ball.
Now, I've long suggested a FVV to NOLA deal. They have some interesting young players and picks. However, things have changed with us moving up to the 4th overall pick and
Suggs will likely be on the board at 4 and if he is, we should take him. Doing so might eliminate the need for Ball on our team, depending on what you think Suggs best NBA position will be.
The best deal for both teams involving FVV would be something around FVV + salary ballast for Ball + pick(s)
Secondly, dealing FVV would more or less signal a rebuild and we'd probably be looking for another home for Siakam. Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what management is trying to do.

If we ignore the fact that we had Norman Powell, Ibaka, less washed Gasol and Kyle Lowry, then sure we can believe this is a top 3 seeded team. Speaking of reality however, we don’t have any of those guys and currently have zero players on this roster that can be considered even top 15 in the NBA. Kyle is most likely not back either and will either leave in FA or with S&T. We are not set up to make a finals run and seining for Turner who can be bought for less with the 4th pick sounds like a disaster.
I also wholeheartedly disagree with your base premise that no one we can get at 4 looks like an elite prospect. Both Suggs and Green have flirted with being taken first for a while during the season.

Yeah I think Turner will be dealt as well. It's obvious to everyone that the project has panned out and Sabonis is absolutely the better player as of right now.
I like him and I want him but I'm not willing to give up #4 for him. That is way, way too much.
