Doesn’t work financially (or in any common sense scenario, really).

Why not throw in Scottie and 3 extra firsts?

I'm not really interested in Durant, but Jakob + Quickley + Barrett + 9th is definitely way too much for KD. I don't think there's any truth to that rumour

Shead
Dick / Walter
Ingram / Agbaji / Battle
Durant
Barnes / Mogbo / Chomche

Just look at what's left. That's an awful team right there, I'll tell you that for free

Maybe this will be the second Lowry moment, where the other team saves Masai from himself.

I’m hopeful KD ends up in Miami and Ware in Toronto!

Barrett > Green

I wanna see how low this board views RJ. He is honestly hard to value since some people would see him as a rising young player. Others see a bench player given to many shots because of his draft position.

I feel like RJ can easily be a solid starter or even a sub all star (on offense)

He shot 44% and 38% from the corners last year and 38% from the left wing 3. As a catch and shoot guy he can probably optimize those corner 3’s and limit his above the break ones. His FT shooting makes no sense but I won’t be surprised if he can fix that as well.

On an actual structured team, I don’t doubt RJ will play a role and not be a chucker. He didn’t play that way in the olympics and was a solid 3rd guy. He averaged 18/8/4 on 59/46/88 through 4 games in Paris and the eye test backed it up too. Really small sample but he’s a competitor and has gotten markedly better since leaving NY

Masai willing to overpay for KD. That #9 pick could come back to haunt us in due time. I wouldn't include the pick in any trade for Durant.
 Masai’s Rebuilt Raptors

PG: I. Quickley/ J. Walter/ J. Shead
SG: R. Barrett/ G. Dick / A. Lawson
SF: B. Ingram/ O. Agbaji / G. Temple

because they're over the 2nd apron, the Suns literally can't make a deal that involves us trading them RJ+IQ+Yak and involves them sending back KD.

All the makings of a GM/President who's been advised that he either get's in the play-in next year or he's out.

Its obvious the trade is not both IQ/Barrett (Prolly a mis quote by that twitter account)....It will be the choice of Suns which one they take....Just sounds like Masai is willing to trade either of them for Durant....Yak is for sure gone and 9th pick is for sure gone....

We prolly use RJ/Quick whatever one we have left over to get a C....If i were to guess...

I said it before and I'll say it again - I don't think the Raps are seriously trying to get Durant. The presented package of IQ, Yak, and Pick 9 is a great incoming package for current KD, but it's getting the third team to send the Raps equivalent value.

To Suns: IQ, Yak, Pick 9
To Mystery Team: Durant
To Raps: Stuff from Mystery Team

maybe they like someone at 9 alot (more than 17). Also Poeltl is 3 yrs younger and can stick around longer for foreseeable future when they dont own their picks. Barrett also plays at SF whereas DDV is stuck at SG w/ Beal/booker/allen. Gobert has like 2-3 yrs of prime left (which matches well with our ingram experiment)

That offer keeps coming up (Poeltl, RJ or IQ, and #9) and there are only 2 sscenarios:

1) It's just not true and could be any number of people making it up for various reasons. Our FO will never refute anything to anyone.
2) It's true but KD is not thrilled about Toronto and the Suns are giving his desired teams every chance to up their offers.

Because that is a pretty good deal for the Suns, and if it were legit AND he was okay with the Raps, it would be done by now.

Not sure I like it. I couldn't care less about RJ or IQ (and don't even really care which one they choose), I'm lukewarm on #9 but giving up Poeltl would run counter to trying to compete next season. "We can just go grab some cheap Centers" feels like something I've heard for, oh I don't know, 5 years now.

No chance that package is real. Masai throwing away almost his entire core for an old KD rental is nuts. I don't believe it at all.

Out of the teams that amde the top 4 or 8 of the playoffs, which one runs a poeltl style centre?

I don’t buy that deal as stated, but , I’m for acquiring KD if we can as long as we’re willing to make more moves to compete because they believe they have a legit shot.

It's RJ or IQ, that's the only way the money works. And they'd probably want IQ. Hence why we've also been batting around the RJ trade ideas, like Claxton/Williams/Ayton/Timelord/etc to find a replacement for Yak.

Legacy media are slow on the uptake. We were on the Ingram for Bruce/Kelly thing way ahead of it happening too.

and lol, of course they'd want Rudy/DDV/Dillingham, the entire hang-up is that KD doesn't want to extend there so there's no deal.
