all deductive reasoning as a result of Bosh actions and Miamis minor moves (Joel Anthony qualifying offer etc.)

LOL, if this trade goes through, Beasley will NOT be third on the depth chart at a position.

I read something on a news source stating no one of interest was in Miami last weekend.....in fact LeBron was in New York and there was no "summit".

F'n can't wait till all the speculation is over and a deal is done. This is a s**it show.....

i dont want a trade exception + pick. Thats ****. Id take the chance on Beasley.

You don't know what we've been offered for that full exception, dude. You can bet BC has been getting offers on the presumption he would have a large exception.

If I were Chicago, I'd offer the Raptors a pick just to stick Miami for the full exception.

Yup. This could become a bidding war or an opportunity for one team to screw the other. Either way its good for the raps.

Also, Lebetard should be hung to dry for making something up and passing it as fact but who knows I thought this was too big a leak so maybe like bosh hes also been told to stfu

I dont think LeBatard made this up for kicks. I think hes just covering up his tracks right now by saying he doesnt have any official sources. Because official sources would mean tampering. He heard it in the wind.

Still expect this to happen. The fact that TSN, Score, Sportsnet are all running it probably meant they checked in with LeBatard to make sure hes not a POC. Normally when it hits the big boys like that it means the deal is going to happen. Happened with the JO trade too. Hit the big boys, some people were saying it was dead for a few days, but it went through eventually.

As long as we get younger and athletic either by picks or players ill be happy. Beasley does fit the description so it would be nice

LeBatard said it was an idea he was floating, not a rumour with a source. He said if it was breaking news he would break it through the newspaper not on twitter, which is mostly for (unfunny) jokes.

Dan Lebatard has always come across as a guy who needs a beating.... He seriously needs
to get his Ass Kicked to become humble. He's one of the biggest Douche Bags I've ever seen.

As for Beasley....Colangelo is complete Moron so I wouldn't be surprised that he's so anti
Beasley.

The kid is 21 years old....and even if he's nuts at least his contract is expiring and
could be an asset.

Ofcourse Colangelo doesn't want to rebuild because he's in a contract year himself and
will do a patch job and have us fighting for the 8th seed.

One thing we can conclude from all these rumours is that Chicago and Miami are the two front-runners for Bosh.

From our perspective, this can't be a bad thing correct? Just like the recent real estate market boom, I hope they pay a premium just to ensure the other team doesn't sign Bosh.

What happens in a stalemate w Miami?

Post#677 » by heffmanhere » Wed Jun 30, 2010 8:24 pm

Sorry for the dumb question but what happens if:

Bosh wants to go to Miami but Raps don't like nor want what Miami prefers to give us in their proposed S & T...

is it as simple as this or no: if the teams can't reach a compromise then Bosh either signs elsewhere with a team the Raps can agree on a S&T with or either Bosh signs with Miami on a five year deal etc and the Raps get nothing?

Thx in advance...

Count me as one of the folks that just think LeBetard is back-pedalling. It seemed more official earlier in the day, and Smith's article even had a quote from Bosh's agent saying the deal was imminent. Now the quote is from an "unnamed NBA agent". No one wants to blow this whole thing up with a charge of tampering. I fully expect (and hope) Beasley will be a Raptor by tomorrow.

Guys LeBatards career would take a major hit if he was just making this up. Look at all the sources reporting it. These guys know what theyre doing when they report done deals.

I guarantee you he didnt just make this as a prank. He heard Bosh blabbering his mouth all over town, heard some other in the wind sources, but it cant be revealed for real until tonight so he has to say deductive reasoning

Raptors should take Beasley and the exception. It's not everyday you get a number 2 draft pick.
