If we keep running a fast pace, spread the floor type system then he's the type of guy who could fit in well here. IMO the Perry Jones we saw today isn't even close to as good as he'll eventually become with the NBA style of play, coaching and added maturity.

I'm not so sure of that.

Firstly he doesn't have a real position in the NBA and he doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. People say he can handle the ball well but what good is that if you're destined to play in the post?

Then why is he currently ranked the #1 prospect in this class? Most of that has to do with his potential. Here's a few quotes from the ESPN recruiting evaluations of Perry.

those quotes are from his high school days... and no mock I've seen has him no.1 the fact that he's even in the top 5 speaks more about how weak the draft is.

d will played around half the game but fouled out in the last minute. two of the fouls were due to the fact it was a close game and the team had to foul.

he played with one hand and still managed 12 and 17

game is going into ot right now.

refs are beyond awful. no idea whats gonna happen now.

heading into a third ot

i dont know if enough players will be able to finish the period because everyone has fouled out.
the refs legitimately wont let the away team win in the pac.

incompetence at best
corruption at worst.

The white boy Parson can ball man. The guy is literally crashing the board every possession. TJ and Knight were a 2 men show in the 2nd half. TJ played alright, I don't see nba "star" potential but a good rotation player at best, got the basketball smart, knows how to utilize his jab steps and shotfake well, has post up skills but I can see him getting shut down easily in the nba by long athletic defenders.

Knight can heat up in a hurry, but still plays like a SG. Not a good lottery draft pick material for the raps.

The Florida - Kentucky game. Yep, I saw it. I don't know how Florida pulled it out. Parsons had a good game, so did Knight. Knight is so streaky but it was a bad shot at the end.

That was pretty hyped. Terrence can play, did you see that drive in the final minute. Blow by for the dunk...

d will didnt play in any of the overtimes due to fouling out (although not his fault)

his hand still is pretty injured. although he hit his only 3 of the game, his midrange/ft shotting was completely off. Still a force out there.

all three ot's (and the end of regulation) were filled with huge drama. Incredible victory

Watched TJones a little more closely tonight. He's sort of like Aminu. He makes a lot of hustle plays, but you'll see him take possessions off. His shot selection is terrible. He's quick off the bounce for his size, but not all that fluid. Still seems slow-footed on defense (especially for a potential SF). I'd say he's in the 7-10 range for me right now.

All eyes on HB today.

HB vs. Singleton matchup

If he can score over 20 against him, AND do the same to Duke, then anything is possible for HB's draft stock as it could potentially climb back up to the top 3 ladder.

The game starts at 2 PM.

Hope someone finds the stream. If not, I will.

:o

I'd just like to know who the 9 guys are you'd take before him?
I can't even find 10 prospects!
