Re: Free Agency Thread **NOW OPEN**
I love it no panacea moves by Masai. Keep their eye on the prize for 2021. Keep adding undervalued pieces in the draft and develop the core. If they have to overpay for FVV you do so and trade him at the draft next year.
Milwaukee has not gotten much better and have wagered the future to keep Giannis. Toronto on the other hand has not lost anyone of significance...yet. Core of Lowry, Siakim, Powell, OG, FVV, TD were a quarter away from a ECF. Keep the faith in Masai.

That will absolutely be his market maybe more. If Ibaka garners attention from 10 teams wait till OG hits the market.

Grant contract I am quite sure is only 1 year guaranteed. He got a massive pay day to go to Detroit until the deadline. Same with Plumlee.
edit: holy cow this was a real offer! can't believe it.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

Blake Griffin is still there
He could've been 3rd option on a far better team

detroit would be absolutely stupid to have dont the strech moves and then only sign him for 1 year.
dedmon will stretched for 5 years
ariza and mcgruder for 3 years.

It’s so cute seeing Lakers fans praising Pelinka, as if he’s doing anything lol.
Lebron and Rich Paul run this league. You’re seeing what they can do in the market with the lure of playing in LA, unfortunately. Lebron’s influence is even larger in today’s climate in the clout era.

So Ibaka waiting this long means if we don’t get Fred Ibaka gets a big money deal from Masai? I am surprised we haven’t heard about Ibaka yet.

I'd rather win and get the same money, especially if I had Grant's skillset.

Same money...more shots...worse shots because you don't have the Joker drawing all the attention and throwing magical passes. And the Pistons actually think there is an offensive monster waiting to be unleashed???

Yeah but in Denver, you don't have to move. You're on a winning team with championship aspirations. You keep the same amount of money. In Detroit, you're in a loser franchise in a **** city. You're not winning jack ****. You getting more shots, but those shots don't mean anything cuz Detroit isn't winning ****. if money is the same, i rather be winning than taking worthless shots.

Grant is doing to be a disaster elsewhere. I was a big fan even before his playoff run, but he shouldn’t be anything more than a really good role player. Asking him to do more is something you would expect from the Pistons, though, embarrassment of a franchise.

No one wants to pay OG 20mil. They are just basing it off the Grant deal - which is technically a bad example because it looks like Plumlee and Grant's deals are to make a S&T work for Griffin.
With that said, I feel like some of the criticisms you gave could be given to Fred but just in different areas (lack of play-making, horrible offensive stats outside of 3-point shooting, lack of size). But people still wanna throw the brinks truck at him... which makes no sense to me. OG actually has some great advanced stats and is only 23.
