Barnes game is built on the threat of bully ball and his strength which is exactly what Horford specializes in neutralizing

Couple of hessis and old man horfraud will be on skates. Barnes just needs confidence and the green light to try it.

I think the coaching staff said to stop and take threes instead. Just guessing.

If Pascal is allowed to launch 2's I'm sure Scottie got the green light. Nurse literally told him to be more aggressive and shoot the ball.

Would still be a key player on any contender lol.

He's currently the best defensive player in the league with elite passing vision.

I have higher ambitions for Scottie. I'm sorry.

I do too but Scottie's floor being a DPOY passing savant is a hell of a floor.

I am pleased that bonga is getting boucher's minutes. He looks pretty damn good on defense. Our whole team looked pretty gold on D except Svi but that's to be exprcted.

Not a baf half considering the circumstances.

Draymond never does this. The comparison isn’t fair to either Barnes or Draymond

It's Scottie's lack of aggression/assertiveness, I've been to a game and I promise you can hear Nurse saying "RIM RIM, SHOOT SHOOT" almost every single time that Scottie has the ball lol.

Fred said on the William Lou pod that the team analytics says only star players should be allowed to take mid range shots, and that hes been allowed to take those shots this year compared to last. I think Siakam is the other guy allowed those. Then again Gary takes them too so idk.

Alvin starting to point out that Scottie needs ball, should be initiating.

He made the one brilliant pass to Pascal. I don't see how Nick and Fred see those passes on video and not think hey we need more of that

I think for Scottie to be used effectively you have to have guys cutting. His best passes this week have been off cuts to Siakam and the previous game to Precious. He just sees over the defense well and can make those passes, but asking him to operate off pick and roll too much is a bit of a challenge.
