These soon-to-be nba role players are definitely making a tease at Wall and Cousin lol.

Good point. I think the difference is this team takes after Knight and last year's team takes after Wall and Cousins. Last year's team was all about talent but not enough steadiness or control to make it farther than they did. This year's team is steady and gets the job done

When he gets his shot back, he said he had it, I don't think our SF position needs as much of an improvement as the PG. So I don't think Barnes should be as high on our draft board as he was in the beginning of our season. I mean he hasn't even shown he's the best player available if Knight, Walker, Williams and Jones are still there.

Adequate for a bottom of the barrel lottery team?

Agreed.

The one reason I think we draft PG is because there are some really nice SF prospects in the 2012 draft so, knowing we will be a lottery team again next season since we have so many bad (adequate) SFs (kleiza, jj, wright) I mgiht agree but for different reasons.

JJ is not the long term solution @ a wing position

Reignman, I dont understand why you dont just become a fulltime fan of college ball in general. I know you are a fan, but you care so much about the draft too. You should pick a team and go **** crazy like me.
For how much you watch, im surprised you haven't been sucked in yet.

Isn't it exciting to watch?

Other then Zeller, who's better?

Barnes is the 4th most important player on his college team. However, this means absolutely nothing in terms of how he ranks as an nba prospect.

Kinda reminds me of the Marvin Williams situation. All the hype from high school and shows glimpse of hope in college games.

Especially when people need to know how UNC run their system lol. Big men and point guard are highly utilized in Coach Wiliams' offense.

I need a college team too, though I'm worried it'll be as much a failure as picking an NFL team which has never worked for me without some geographic tie. Or maybe cause the team I picked (Baltimore) is just too good and I'm used to misery inducing teams lol. I think I might jump **** to the Bills next year. Ryan Fitzpatrick!

Exactly. How many great players in the NBA were 4th most important player on his college team?

Yeah but I mean you're not going to fill up all the position with young up and coming all star players. JJ brings the defense an toughness we sorely lack and he's shown he can do it on an NBA level.

I just don't think drafting Barnes, or putting Jones and Willams at the 3 is going to make a difference on our team like how Knght and Walker could.

And Barnes criticism isn't reactionary at all. People have been questioning him the whole season

The best part about college ball is that your team is good everyear. Additionally, you sign awesome new players too. its honestly much more fun to follow than the nba because there are so many more facets to the game.

Find a team who has a coach you respect, plays a style of basketball you enjoy, and has an active fanbase.

You guys are all definitely invited to become fans of Arizona!

Brandon Knight has been VERY impressive. He gets in the painted area, and makes plays. I like how he has the quiet but confident demeanor, just like DeRozan and Davis.

Barnes has had 0 impact on the game so far, while Knight and Kentucky continue to dominate.

Dude seriously, Harrison barnes is the 1st option in UNC's offense - Zeller might be the more important player, but even still Barnes is at least the 2nd most important player on the team

Henson has length and is huge on defense for UNC but to say hes more important than Barnes on the UNC team is irrational

Now you saying Barnes is the 4th most important player?

Your clearly hating on the guy. I don't know why? Maybe your trying to counter all the love Barnes gets, but either way your absolutely wrong calling barnes the 4th most important player on the team.

You are a perfect example of an irrational raptors fan.
