If we can come out of this draft with a haul of Edmond Sumner 6-5 (PG/SG) And Justin Patton 7-0(C) Id be a happy camper...This kid has all the tools to become a future star in the League...I love guys like this as well ...basically an unknown guy who had to work harder then everyone else to get where he is now....Kinda Powell story...Lets pray hes on the board when we pick..

Sumner/Powell/Pasc/Poeltl/Patton/Bebe/Wright is a solid young Core to build around for the future with...

MUST WATCH****The 2 Teams going at itt 8-)
Patton came up clutch and Sumner looks good 2...These 2 would be steals if they end up at both our picks..

I honestly can't get excited for the draft anymore I've just been to traumatized over the years...

What's the point of getting excited when the Raptors will reach and draft some obscure player way out of their range or
a player that's a perfect fit or really good gets drafted right in front of them or better yet the Raps pass on him.

I have no feels anymore

Deandre Daniels wasn't a reach, Delon Wright wasn't a reach, Norman Powell wasn't a reach, Jakob Poeltl wasn't a reach, and Pascal Siakam wasn't a reach. Those are 5 out of the 6 picks the Masai regime has made. So what evidence do you have to suggest that we'd take an obscure player way out of their range other than Bruno?

Yep, apart from the brutal Bruno draft Masai has selected guys projected near his pick.

Justin Patton is good but Jarett Allen isn't getting discussed at all. The guy looks like Anthony Davis lite and is projected in the second round right now.

Is he part of this Draft Class? I don't see him on any mock drafts out there? Masai better hide him because he looks great

Siakam was a reach, however, so far it has been a good reach. Bruno was the only bad reach.

My bad I must have skimmed through it.

Yes he is I don't know why he doesn't get covered more or why he's under the radar. He had an injury earlier on in the year but has looked decent so far. Whoever said Bebe can do what this kid can didn't watch the tape. He's already light years ahead of Bebe offensively and plays some what the same on the defensive end.

Siakam wasn't a reach. He was projected as a late-first, early second round pick.

Theoretically, if we offered JV + both 1sts, what's the highest pick we could likely receive?

Hopefully Masai unload Ross/Cojo/JV in the offseason and get some draft picks back; Would be nice if he can trade Ross+Our Pick and move up to 14 or 15 and get one of Rabb, Bam, Bridges, or Patton

Caleb Swanigan is as IBM Watson as NBA Draft Picks get.

I wonder if Marques Bolden is declaring. I'd take him over Jarrett Allen (who I also like) quite easily. Bolden basically has the measurements of Boogie Cousins to make a comparison size wise. Almost a 9'5" standing reach with a high BBIQ and skill in the post is hard to find. The good thing for us is he's only getting about 8 minutes per game this season so he can fly under the radar.

Another guy to watch is Angel Delgado. He just rebounds like a mad man, which is something we could use since Biz left and no one outside of JV dares to mix it up in the paint.

He's currently ranked 52 in Draftexpress, for what it's worth. He is having a very productive season, but his body(12.5 percent body fat isn't round, but it's not impressive at the next level) and lack of athleticism when he was tested at the combine(29.0 inch vertical jump) will keep him out of the first round.
Of course, if the team had cause to believe they could get him to lean out a little in the hope of it making him more mobile/explosive, then it could be a good buy low opportunity.

I saw that game, no to Jarrett Allen. Maybe with our second round pick and still... He has no athleticism. He has limited range. His defense is ok. I am trying to think of a player he reminds me - maybe ZBO but not as good.

DX has him way too low. His issues are the same as a guy like Zach Randolph (without the early career craziness).
