Im watching a replay of the 4th quarter and stephen a smith was sitting right under the basket. When lowry drove to the rim and scored at the 4 minute mark you could see SAS put his head in his hands, man was in shambles

You know who we signed for the playoffs instead? Tory Lanez
don't forget the game vs the cavs when him and pascal did number on lebron. I have no clue why we signed tory lanez over miller, espically with norm being irrealent at the SF position.

Because FVV was injured. They signed Brown in case FVV is out for an extended period of time.
the problem is having miller would be more ideal if we get the cavs in the next round over an undersize norm at SF who simply doesn't have the size to guard lebron, You're also looking at a useless tory lanez who might never play any real minutes again.

BUT

Anyone have the full ESPN link?

No but it was hilarious how much doris burke kept calling out gortat for illegal screens. All game long lol!

Lol, that and her obvious love for FVV. She couldn’t stop gushing about him.

Yeah but you have to make it to the second round, and there's no guarantee that you'll play the Cavs in the second round.

Mahinmi's $30M left over the next 2 years is the biggest issue salary wise. I think we'll have to attach our 2019 1st to get rid of him. Let Gortat expire. Draft a young big in the upcoming draft.

We'd have been in good shape if we had not signed Mahinmi, Smith and Nicholson. Nicholson they traded to Brooklyn along with our 2017 1st round pick (Jarrett Allen) for Bogdanovic and McCullough. Bojan is in Indiana and McCullogh isn't an NBA player IMO. Allen would be the perfect young C to have on the roster and he'd be the starter going forward... and have Gortat be a bench guy. Sigh.

Not sure it's the best solution, but I think Porter would be a pretty great trade chip. You can get glue for cheaper. Someone like Andre Drummond will likely be available, and while he's not perfect he can play off Wall/Beal a lot better than Gortat/Mahinmi at this point. imo, you guys have to dump Morris, he's toxic and not what you need more of.

If we're trading Otto, it'd have to be someone like Drummond. Not sure DET would do it though. Also, its clear that Oubre is not ready to be relied upon as the starting SF. Otto has higher IQ and shooting. His contract is a max but he's got 3 years left.

We've floated a Otto for Cousins deal but the achilles is scary.

One of our posters, Kevin Broom, has a blog. He uses a metric he developed called PPA. I agree with its accuracy.

Casey already played Lorenzo Brown in a playoff game, thats grounds for a firing. I also wanted Miller for SF depth.

Oddly enough, who would have thought simply playing JV was better than 3 PG lineup with the dleague MVP hmmm

Happy for you guys. With Cleveland looking vulnerable and Philly still young and green, you guys have a good shot at the NBA Finals. Hell, even GS is vulnerable, it could be your year.

Masai..please trade dd, ibaka and norm....

You're ridiculous, Fred is just playing bench time. Let's see if he can play regular starter and play against the star players of other team.

What are you arguing? I mean ive been a pretty big critic of FVV but the bench sucked this series until he came back. I don't believe FVV is anymore or can be anymore than a really really good back up PG/6th man. I think he could get exploited as a full time starter and the injuries are starting to pile up. All i was saying about him is his effect is real.

Porter's a terrible contract though. I can't see teams giving up anything good for him. Given the length of the contract they might have to attach a pick to get rid of it.

I think Porter would fit with the Raps actually, but yeah, they'd have to take some of the Raps' contracts
