Well it seems like the team vibes will be good this year at least. Might even translate to a few extra wins.

The Open Gym episodes this season will be a lot more entertaining as well. Last season was the worst for Open Gym content and now we know why.

They get worse every year IMO. Back in the day they used to be 50 minutes long with way more behind the scenes footage.

Your team needs to have character to actually make those fun to watch. This team hasn't had a lot of personality since the championship core leaders left. Siakam and FVV can be very dry on their own and it looks like Barnes was told to tone down the personality last season.

DS training with German team and shows his leadership role as well as working on some shooting drills with another guard. Shot looks good. Darko may give him the green light to let it fly! Surround him with other shooters like Gary and Dick and he'll find the open man. Looks promising.

Garrett Temple sharing the good vibes with this team. I think I want a team that just plays the right way and for each other and Darko has been living up to it so far. Temple is also going to be a good addition even if he plays spot minutes.

Vibes are amazing. I see non basketball activities and games being played the team has put together. The culture last year was so bad the team is literally doing everything possible to not repeat it. It truly shock this organization to its core. It was a horrible product to watch and the team didn't look to happy to be there. Last year was a wake up call we needed. Glad to see real change happening.

Can’t put too much stock into it. Everyone said the vibes were amazing during the Rico Hines/summer league times too.

But it’s a promising start.

Last year was more players making a jump vibes. Barnes, OG, Precious, and Gary all getting better. Fred is an All-Star now. Siakam wants to be top 5. Fred and Gary playing for contracts. In hindsight it was the team will be better because of 'internal growth' from individuals. Also Nurse would talk about getting players paid. This summer its young guys and older guys having fun as team away from basketball. It's different.

On this particular August day, Covington played at the invite-only pro pickup runs at UCLA facilitated by Rico Hines, who is now on Nick Nurse’s coaching staff with the Philadelphia 76ers. As trade talks come and go, Covington got to play with younger Clippers teammates such as Terance Mann, KJ Martin, Bones Hyland, Brandon Boston Jr., and rookie Jordan Miller against the likes of Toronto Raptors’ (Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes, Gradey Dick, Jalen McDaniels), Philadelphia 76ers’ (De’Anthony Melton, Paul Reed, Mo Bamba), and NBA G League Ignite. Also in attendance: Frank and 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.
