I do think the deal is going to go through, but MIA dropped the ball on this one and LeBetard has just lost any type of credibility for the rest of his career.

Don't count on it. Stern's loving the attention this is getting.

True. MIA and TO probably want it to happen. I would prob expect other teams like Chicago complain that MIA did something under the table.

SERIOUS QUESTION ALERT!!
if we trade bosh to miami for the TPE can we trade the TPE to NO for chris paul? I only ask because its obvious that NO just wants capspace.

Teams will be pissed they never had a chance to court Bosh. They will cry foul. Especially New York since they will not get anyone except David Lee at double the price.

I just don't know what to say. You want them to trade Chris Paul for literally nothing?

It’s hard to imagine the Hornets agreeing to move their franchise star for much, if anything, short of an All-Star, a starter and a high draft pick.

Or maybe they'll settle for, y'know, nothing!

Sorry I should have explained it a little bit better. I was only using chris paul as a example to try and understand how the tpe works. I get it that they wouldnt just give us him for nothing.

That trade is flipping disgusting.

So in the ends Riley punks Colangelo some more and we get stuck with a headcase and a Baller from 'alaska'.

It would be better if Bosh went to the nets. At least you screw over wade and lebron that way you don't create this 3 headed monster.

I don't think BC wants to be the gm that helps to create a team that will honestly be a threat to win the title every year. Look at the trade for Gasol. That was pure garbage.

i think it will happen but someone told him to backtrack. A guy on the heat board explained it well.

Lebatard's original tweet about a Bosh sign and trade was more of a hunch based on all the clues out there than a confirmed story with sources. He was stating an opinion and I happen to believe that his opinion is correct. He failed to understand however, that his statement came off just like Steven A. reporting something legitimately, with multiple sources. A find it hard to believe that someone as media savvy as Lebatard did not see how his tweet would blow up and be reported as a factual story, especially since he was just on ESPN last night doing a free agent roundtable. Seems as though he is playing dumb and covering his butt after realizing that his tweet was picked up by other media outlets.

The James tweet was a joke written by his producer and co-host in an attempt to see if they could literally post anything and have it make its way into the news cycle. It was not intended to be taken seriously, rather as social media experiment.

Wow, Nets... Guess that Hova influence is heavier than we think?

And if even Chad Ford is saying this, think CB to Miami is a good bet now. Just a matter of what we receive. I sincerely hope we don't settle for just the TPE and perhaps our pick back... If there's a chance to pick up a Beasley+Chalmers, grab them.

I really like Chalmers and for as much as Collison is hyped around here I think he's comparable

also if its just Wade and Bosh in Miami, no Bron or other big name, they won't win ****

Don't worry, there won't be a 3 headed monster because LeBron is not going to sign there. Let Bosh enjoy Miami with Wade, I personally think that is less scary than a Wade + Amare combo.
