Yes. He does more work than the artist. He makes the beat. I’m not even a Khaled hater but he’s not even dr Dre or timbaland in terms of how he’s involved in constructing the whole song. He used to make beats and maybe he’s involved in the arrangement of the song, but he’s more a manager/agent/producer than a musician. And when I say producer I don’t mean in the same way as Quincy Jones or even new Kanye. Producer in the sense that he maybe comes up with an idea and gathers everyone else to actually construct the song.

That's not what got him to where he is now though. I'm sure he had to work his way up and learn and do those things well first.
