Wiseman's defensive IQ is really bad. Nurse would bench within 5 minutes. Needs major work. Not playing his college year hurt him a LOT.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Just watching him in that game where we destroyed the Warriors was enough for me to lose any interest in him
He looked completely lost and worthless out there. He might become something worthwhile eventually but that’s gonna take quite a while

Has that been done, compensating a team with a draft pick not to match the offer sheet? Lottery protected 2023 would be fine.
But Fred's too valuable to just give away for a non-shooting big. Turner, I'd think about it (if Pacers wanted Fred).

I’m actually not sure if it’s been done before lol
I don’t even know if it’s doable actually hahah
Just dreaming but I really hope there’s a way to get him one way or another

Don't think POR is as stupid as the return on this is, that's terrible for them !!

There is no way I would come close to doing this.

You’re telling me Wiggins and 14 gets the Warriors pascal? That’s terrible
And we get horrible return
This does nothing for us and Portland

He showed promise early. People writing him off too early. I'd be more concerned with his injury.

Clutch0z24 wrote:If GSW Came to you with a deal of #7 #14 Wiggins and Wiseman for Pascal do you guys hang up or take the deal? ....
I would be intrigued at this atm we grab a C Who has potential, Wiggins as a hometown kid and a good defender, And have 5 draft picks in this deep draft where you can grab guys to fill out the team....Would make us really young but really exciting to see...
But giving up on Siakam would also be hard cause of the things he accomplished here at such a young age...Would be a tough one
I doubt GSW gives up that much. I like Wiseman as a prospect more than many it seems, but with his injury who knows. GSW can keep him and bring him along slowly. It makes cashing in on Pascal more palatable for Warriors fans. Siakam's surgery perhaps complicates things.
For me, I like Pascal for Wiggins 7 + 14. And I'm actually high on Pascal. Maybe GSW throws in a protected first that turns into seconds or something. Going young to me makes sense.
At 7 the Raptors have a chance at Kuminga/Barnes/Moody. I like that already. Davion as a wildcard to bring doubters on board. At 14 the options are quite frankly wow. Kai Jones/Springer/Tre/Segun/Giddey/Keon/Cooper/Isiah/Bouknight/Wagner/Zaire...I digress.

would you guys take a chance on Marvin Bagley? I know he's been a dud but as a former #2 he seems like an easy get. You guys think his potential is worth taking a flyer on or is he someone that we should stay away from? I haven't watched him too much

Sacramento is going to want more than any team is willing to offer, mainly because he was the "2nd" overall pick. I wouldn't trade for him.
Bigs who don't play any lick of defense is an extremely tough sell. Plus him wanting out along with his teammates father hoping he gets traded isn't a good look either lol.

That's true. He just seems like a guy in a terrible spot like Sactown. They seem to botch the development of a lot of players. I thought we might be able to get more out of him. but him with our program might do wonders. He does seem a little full of himself
Might as well stay away unless we get him for pennies on the dollar

For sure;
He has one year left on his rookie deal and if it really doesn't work you can move him as an expiring at the deadline or work out a S&T next summer when he is an RFA
The issue is that his value to the Kings Vs what he is likely worth in a vacuum around the NBA is vastly different.
I would do an expiring and both seconds to take a flyer on him for the season;
However, I suspect the Kings would want more.

Watched him a few times during the season. Left dominant is understatement. Lacks polish on post offense. Defense was questionable. Really needs to play 5 (one game I saw he did better than Holmes in guarding Embiid) especially in today's game. He needs to be humbled to improve and a change in scenery. I don't think SAC utilized him properly. eg. Why Whiteside? Bagley should have gotten ALL the backup 5 minutes. Walton would bench him in 4th and go small almost all the time.

No. Lavine doesn’t really impact winning much and I’d rather develop a 19 year old who has the potential to become a better player

Interesting.
I like Suggs, don't get me wrong. Happy to have him here but this team (if we're going to roll with a core that includes Siakam and Vanvleet) needs a go-to scorer. Desperately. You simply can't make it in the NBA without one of these guys. I just don't see Suggs have the offensive bag that say a Lavine or Jalen Green has.
If the plan is to reboot the team and trade vets like Vanvleet and Siakam for big hauls, then Suggs makes a lot more sense. Even from an age/timeline perspective, unless Suggs comes in and is a superstar right away, we're looking at a 30 year old Siakam and expiring Vanvleet before he hits his stride.
Whereas Lavine does struggle defensively, we have a lot of pieces to cover that up and he's a guy who can get you a bucket when it really matters. It also allows us to work with/around Siakam, who in and of himself, is a rare talent at the PF spot.
Just something to consider, I guess.

Realistically a core of Siakam, Fred, Lavine, OG isn’t something I’d bet money on to win a title
Lavine has never touched the playoffs so in that sense he’s quite unknown as to whether he could even be a legit first option
Anytime you have a chance at drafting and developing a star yourself, you’re better off doing that rather than trading it. Can you imagine the shambles if Suggs goes on to become a star for another team while we become a perennial 2nd round exit?
With Suggs and OG we give ourselves a 10+ year window to build a team around that core
