Ya, he has like Mikal Bridges wingspan. Rupert has more guard skills but Bridges is a better shooter.

If we cant get SGA in a package, our target should be a guard/wing creator (who can score or make plays or both) and of course who plays defense

Excluding Scoot and Wemby.... Brandon Miller, Anthony Black, Keyonte George, Rayan Rupert, Cam Whitemore on my list for now

Brandon Miller has great size, is a good athlete and can really shoot the ball. I'm getting some Jabari vibes from him which isn't a bad thing but don't see that prototype developing into an elite player. Miller struggles with shot creation and finishing at the rim. He's primarily a jump shooter at this point.

Yeah, I agree. I've been catching up on a lot of these guys lately and I would say more or less the same thing. If he's on the board by the time our pick rolls around then fine but I think the FO needs to prioritize a guy who has the skillset to create his own shot. Ever since Lowry was traded, the only guy on this team who can reliable create his own shot and actually get to the rim has been Siakam. We're going to need more than that if we want to rebuild into a contender, especially if the draft is going to be our primary avenue of meaningful acquisitions.

This draft is very wing heavy and where I imagine we'll be picking, there aren't many guards that fit that type. I like George and I think he has great potential but he isn't the greatest creator, Wallace looks good too and you obviously can't say no to Ausar if he's there.

I honestly don't know what position he's going to play on defense (PF/C?), but Sensabaugh is a ridiculously good scorer. Would love to add him with a mid-1st rounder.

100% you swing at that ball. I mean we f'n paid David Johnson. Worst case you get a stud for the 905. But the potential for him to become at least situational big is there.

Whitehead looks like he could be a 6th man type at the NBA level.

I also like Maxwell Lewis.

A potential top 10 pick projected to be 6th man means that it's bad like Jamaal Crawford draft.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/draft/NBA_2000.html

Like he's going to be Keyon Dooling.

I project Emoni Bates as a 6th man and he's now a 2nd round pick that might crack the 1st round if a GM wants to gamble at developing him.

That doesn't mean anything by my reckoning.

Every year at around this time, people say that a draft is stacked and this player is going to be a star and that player is going to be a star etc.

But the fact of the matter is that history tells us that even getting a quality starter in the lottery is a good return. In my books, a legit 6th man has the same value as a quality starter. And when I say quality 6th man, I'm talking like the Lou Wills, Crawford types.

I don't see star there. Hopefully he proves me wrong

I'm a Jett Howard fan, surprised he's actually that high. Howard shoots better than Cam, but Cam being bigger and more NBA ready will help him reach his potential sooner.

I like Howard a lot tho, his handles and shot and passing reads makes him a 3 level scoring candidate. I just don't think he'll get to showcase that till way down the line. He's gonna be put into a 3+D role and go from there. Some team will hope cam becomes their Jaylen brown, Howard will be used more like a Keegan Murray to start off, but I think his ceiling is higher

Both different players but I like what each brings. Howard's shot is legit
