Thank god that never happened

I was told Derrick White was a top 15 player in the NBA though.

top 15 player in the Atlantic Division

White is a good player, but he does more to raise the ceiling of an already good team when hes surrounded by elite players (Tatum/Brown). The Raptors are not in position to have "ceiling raisers" because right now we have to establish a good floor lmao

I dont get the idea of him being the C and not Barnes. To me, both are forwards, and do not see them together in the long run.

Would you trade CMB for Derrick White now?

lol obviously not right now when he's a 42 TS% player. Ask me again at the end of the year though and maybe there's a different answer.

CMB impacts winning with the best of the guys on our team. He's already proving he should be getting 30+ minutes every night. His instincts alone on both ends are far and away better than 90% of this roster. He's been great thus far and well deserving of big minutes.

They are good playing together? NetRtg -24
Our better lineup seems o have more 3 point shooting, particularly with Mamukelashvili.

So White went from top 15 player to not worth CMB in 7 games

Excited to see CMB defending Giannis tomorrow. I have to assume we will see that match-up at some point during the game.

Because Barnes is more versatile and would be limited playing at C, where he is now allows him to do more while also allowing CMB to keep it simple and focus on the things hes good at

Wow White looks cooked so far this season that would have been disastrous. Whites a good fit though but that was not a move we were in a position to make. Let’s hope that was more Masai and not Bobby.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Derrick White limitations really shows.....

CMB good player, not a star, but great role player, hope he can grow into a star....but we always hope that

I didn't realize how old White is... will be close to 32 when playoffs rolls around.

I dont see how Barnes is versatile, he is rather limited to me, which is why he is more a C, particularly the lack of perimeter skill.
