It sucks when other teams draft good Euros and the Raptors draft disappointments/busts.

Looking like the dark days are back soon.

Even the Knicks are better..

Zinger's defensive instincts are really impressive. Been noticing he always keeps the ball in play when he blocks a shot.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

not lucky. smart. Knicks did their homework on the kid. I'm so happy he's doing well, this is what I envisioned from him

plus they're allowing him to play his game instead of limiting him. That's important. Also helps that he's a natural defensive player (if you watched him in FIBA youth tournaments, that's basically all he did) with a developing offensive skillset.

Most important thing now is that they DO. NOT. BULK. HIM. He needs to gain strength and a few pounds of muscle, but slowly. Over a few years.

i knew he would be good when okc's gm gave him a promise in the 2014 draft, before he eventually back out of the draft all together

If we can somehow draft Dragan Bender in the upcoming draft, imagine the Bender vs. Porzingis battles when we play the Knicks...

General question. Can something be done about the refs? Raptors were nearly doubling the Clippers 60/30 (more or less) at half time. Then ol' stripey has to take it upon themselves to get the Clippers back in the game. BS foul after BS foul, BS non-call after BS non-call.

I mean, what is so wrong with one team beating the other team by 50 points on a given night? Everyone has off games. Why the frick does this league need to have their refs shade games like this?

So sick of it.

Doc Rivers
Donovan
Casey

We aren't the only team in the NBA with a very shaky coach.

Man, watching the Warriors play is so unreal. They are a dynasty in the making. Anyone think they can top the bulls 72-10 record this year? With how they are playing right now and how their schedule is looking, they could easily go 20-0 or better to start this season. I just dont see how any team can beat them when they are actually playing well. They've had quite a few stinkers this season and yet are still 14-0 (about to be 15-0) Just an out of this world team.

i don't think they beat 72-10. At some point they will slow down and rest players. Also, they have some rough stretches in their schedule. So far, their schedule hasn't been all that difficult

I think 72 would be in Range playing in the east but not the west. Too many tough road games on the Sked.

And they will undoubtedly start randomly resting starters throughout the season to keep them fresh save them for the playoffs. That wasn't something that was ever done back in the Jordan era.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

Give me a break, we couldn't hit a shot to save our lives in the second half, refs had nothing to do with it.

The refs usually suck, but this type of whining (especially when we WON BY 10) is embarrassing.

If that team can stay healthy... they will easily beat that 72-10 record. They are in a league of their own right now, and no team is even remotely close to playing at their calibre. Just beautiful basketball...

One or two injuries during the season could easily cost them though. Never know what could happen...

It almost seems like worst case for the Warriors, as long as their are no major injuries, would be going like 68-14... which is crazy, but they only need to go 53-14 to get to that number which is a 79% winning percentage for the remainder of their games and winning 4 of every 5 certainly seems not only possible but very very likely for them. It seems like their window is somewhere between 68 and 73 wins... to break the bulls record they would have to go 58-9 over their remaining games which is winning 85% of their games, or about 17 of every 20 which also doesn't seem impossible given how well they've played so far.

Definitely possible. It also bugs me when people point to individual games and say, "see, they'll lose that game, no way they get the record". Like do people not realize they can lose up to NINE games? No one is saying they'll go undefeated.

Lowry predicted he would be great on draft night.

We need Lowry as a Raptors scout after he retires.

Almost every fanbase has a small minority of people who doesnt like the coach or questions their decisions.

We consider brad stevens to be a god and 10x better than casey, but you go the celtics board and continuously nag about him after every loss and how his decision making is costing the team

have to say it again, but Tyler Johnson is a great backup combo guard.
