No matter your specific age grouping, in high school we were all watching some version of this team. In some cases, some of us had no idea what +/- even meant. From watching legends like Lenny Wilkins coach this team to transitioning to Kevin O'neill, we watched this evolve and devolve through multiple iterations. I'll never forget this one scene of Chris Bosh crying on the end of the bench in his rookie year (IIRC). That level of passion speaks volume.

There was a point in time some of us even pinned our hopes on one

I became a man watching this team. Every big moment. HS friends have come and go. The same applies to post secondary friends. Lovers. Jobs. Sunk in thoughts. Adulthood encapsulates that time lapse and growth. During our formative years, we watched a team littered in turmoil and instability. Give me any year and I can tell you exactly who the love of my life was. Who my favorite player on the team was. What my insignificant but real stresses and struggles were.

Our lives are about definitive change and significant crossroads. Over time it also becomes a question of making better choices and grasping with certain uncomfortable realizations.

Through every phase of our life, the Raptors were there. RealGM was as well.

When I ask where do we go from here, it's more than just a question. It's a partial statement on our rise from young impressionable boys to men. Finding our muse so to speak. My thoughts on the transformation of this team are also reflective of the transformations that have taken place in our personal lives.

When you persist, anything truly is possible.

Who would you be if you spent 12 months in the right environment? That's what better choices are about. The environment that will give you the best chance of staying on track. That's going to offer you progress as well as growth, and a real shot at actualizing and experiencing the strongest version of you.

Who we are friends. What's your story?

Would echo many of my same sentiments.

And where are we now? I extend to you the challenge of developing the same character and follow through. Our character gets exposed in times of weakness, I ask you too walk the walk friends.

Our model had the Raptors slightly favored against the Bucks. And now it has them slightly favored against the Warriors. Here's a deep dive into why and whether or not I believe it. 53eig.ht/2W1NsJo

I don't think people realize how good the Raptors' starting 5 is (Lowry-Green-Leonard-Siakam-Gasol). They were very good in the regular season, but didn't play together much. Now they're +12.1 points per 100 possessions in the playoffs in a lot of minutes against tough opponents.

I'm less confident it's handling the Warriors correctly, though. I don't buy the "Warriors better without KD" narrative, they pretty clearly aren't IMO, but the Curry-led Warriors are still a really good team.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Iggy. He's going to be an x factor for them. He hits timely shots and his defense is elite

Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I think we should be given more respect as an opponent.

I've always liked the match-up of us vs the Warriors. I feel we've always given them trouble and with Kawhi being in such game-shape, could really turn some heads.

My honest prediction is we go up 2-0 and win in 6 games

Bill Simmons on his podcast was basically like 'well Kawhi is leaving, everyone knows, even raptor fans know'. God I hope Kawhi stays, these **** boys need some humbling.

Siakim became aggravated with all the kawhi questions. The first 3 questions weren’t about the man on the podium (siakim).

He's huge for them, plays wicked defence, can hit the 3 and is a Finals MVP.

Bill is still mad that his 65 win predictions for the Leltics went down in flames.
