Our FO should be very familiar with his game seeing as he's played in the Rico runs the last two summers. I see a solid, heady connective piece with Jaime. Not sure he sticks around without a 3pt shot though - his tools and defense are just meh. If the shot does come around, though he'll make a great bench wing

I see what you’re saying and I also think that it sounds a lot like Jimmy. Mediocre defensive tools, but the will to succeed is what puts him over the top. Also, a lack of a 3 point shot. I love the fire they both play with.

I don't see the Jimmy comp (who carved a role in the league as a defensive specialist, and is miles ahead as an athlete), but I agree that Jaime is a winner. I also think he becomes a coach's favourite wherever he ends up. It's just hard to get minutes without any one standout skill.

Funny enough, I see more Jimmy in Jaime's teammate, Jaylen Clark - another winning player

I like Clark. Would love to see him go undrafted and end up in raptors organization via 2-way.

Ricky Council is still my favorite player in this draft, but we don't have a 2nd

Coulibaly and George look bad. I changed my mind about them, I don't see either panning out. I would go with Wallace, safest options are usually the best ones. In our range Wallace should be available if he isn't draft Cissoko.

I’m still high on Keyonte. His scoring potential is legit. Similar to Bradley Beal

Yes he was inefficient shooting the ball at Baylor but the mechanics of his shot form is pure. If we hire a coach who’s good with being patient and developing young players, I can see him bringing his efficiency up and making him one of the premier scorers

Wallace’s back issues worry me. Personally I have Kobe Bufkin over Wallace but wouldn’t mind Wallace if thats who we draft.

Keyonte to me still projects to be pure scorer like jalen green so u will ve to live with inefficiency every now and then , well we ve seen in the playoffs even all stars and all nba players struggle ,problem is whT else does he bring to the table

I like balance and mid range players with bility to hit the 3 as well and not be a liability on defense while getting everyone involved and I think cason wallace ,hood schifino or bufkin will be the best fit for this team

This team needs guard play. I like Bilal, I really do but do we need more wings who are inept in the half court offence ?

FVV and GTJ are our only nba level guards and only one of them can actually dribble the ball. It’s time to stop overvaluing wings with a limited skill set and start addressing the deficiencies on our roster.

You gotta seriously look at Bufkin if he's there at 13. I love his ability to finish at the rim, that will open his game on the PnR and attract in the paint for kick outs

I'd take Cason if he's there. O.G. also fell due to injury concerns.

I like that Max Lewis has only one image on his Instagram and he is wearing Toronto Raptors shorts.

He is the singular wing in this draft:

6'7, 7' WS, 207 lbs prototypical wing size
20+ Dunks
20+ Usage
30+ FTR
15+ Ast%
30+ Threes

Raps unafraid of drafting mid-major, late to bball prospects as long as they work hard and believe in themselves.

I believe that he can ironout the playmaking and defense because it just requires more reps. The instincts and will are there it just a technique issue.

He is working out 2+ months with Abunasser in Vegas where Malachi worked out. He says he has been working out daily with Josh Green, Blake Wesley and just as good if not better than those players so he is playing NBA guys to get better.

Overall, I put him at 13 because he can dribble pass and shoot and has optimal size and athleticism.

In the interview Barlowe did with him he said his efficiency went down as the season went on once teams singularly focused on him, doubled him and made his life hell. You have to wonder what he looks like as an off-ball player to start where the focus won't be on him and he can play a different role than he did at Pepperdine which involves less dribbling (and overdribbling), offense initiation, ability to focus more on defense.

If he does put it all together he might be one of those guys who needs until like 25-26 years old.

If we do make the trade with POR for 3 & 23...I'm totally fine/happy to draft him with the 23rd but I think there should be at least several players available at 13 that I quite easily take before gambling on Lewis that early.

I think these guys are spot on. Bufkin is about as safe a bet as there is outside of the top 2, with some untapped potential.

If Coulibaly had the moves that Max Lewis does on offense he would unanimously be the 3rd overall pick.

yeah I think the Wizards, Jazz, maybe even the Magic/Mavs could be threats to take him before us.
