They're bringing a lot of attention to it before a big game. Makes sense cause refs are humans and might very well keep an eye out, even instinctively.

like many folks have already said, the context of the fouls and their timing is of most relevance.

I find that many of the fouls against the Raptors come at the most in-opportune times. We all know basketball is a game of runs, that being said there has always been a foul here and a foul there to stifle the runs they make. OR end the momentum they are on.

I fidn that this is how the Ref's can truly impact the game.

Can we look at personal fouls per player? Cause I always notice, they give Val/amir quick fouls, and then when Brooklyn's bench unit comes in, we start to get calls to even things up. I swear most of the calls are given to their bench guys. I could be wrong, but I get that sense when I'm watching games.

They have been. Everyone just loves to complain depending on whatever team they are rooting for. When Derozan can get over a dozen free throws a game and you still complain, you know there's no satisfying any fan.
