Lol pipe dream yo.

Let me dream

we all know the reality is we’ll pay Fred a near max and build with what we have

most likely and we will complain why and that our starting lineup is ineffective again with Siakam playing Center.

OG plus fillers for DeAndre Ayton on draft night do it Masai!

PG Fred
SG Gary Trent
SF Scottie Barnes
PF Pascal Siakam
C DeAndre Ayton

That's a potential eastern dynasty folks as we finally have someone to counter Adebayo and Embiid while balancing the lineup.

I think whoever they take is gonna be better than OG. Cheaper too. Closer to scotty's age and listen, if it's sharpe or mathurin knowing mu you picked them, knowing myself I think they both have superstar potential, that would be a different level of excitement. Like a Vince Carter era excitement

And then you get a Poeltl type role player. Just saying.

if u wanna be great, you gotta take ur shots.

if Masai doesn't make a move, then you know what he thinks of the prospects in the top 7

Not sure if this is serious? The dude didn’t get offered a rookie extension from the team that drafted him First overall, who’s still looking for a max deal, who got benched in the playoffs because he was getting abused by the no centre Mavs and you want to Trade OG (top flight multi-dimensional wing defender, who shoots 3’s for both volume and %, on a sweat heart deal with term remaining and who’s young and skilled enough to still have some creation upside) and filler so Ayton can take minutes from Precious?

lol

I wouldn't even do OG for Ayton. Could you imagine PHX dumping Ayton for OG? They'd be laughing to the bank. I don't think people have watched PHX and Ayton the last 1.5 seasons to suggest this.

The Suns are in a bind (already in or close to the tax and will need to pay Cam Johnson next year) they don’t want to pay Ayton the max but some desperate team might so at best they’re in a Lowry situation where they’ll get pennies on the dollar for a sign and trade and be happy with some expiring contracts and a low level first round pick or a couple of seconds!

CP3 sets up easy buckets for bigs including lobs. FVV does not.

I am quite fine adding a C like Hartenstein who can do all the "big" things we lack while still being able to play the Raps playstyle. Having him and Achiuwa as our C options seems great.

We don't need a C who was benched by the coach of the year in a must win game 7, not signed by the top team in the regular season, AND having to trade OG to get him AND paying him the most money on the team to be the 4th scoring option.

OG is an essential piece for us to have a chance to acquire a Kawhi type (give or take) level of player and we should be looking to trade up instead of getting loose pieces. His trade value was arguably higher than Pascal next to Scottie this year because he can fit anywhere in the league with some of the most sorted after skills

When it comes to our top 6, we need to stand pat. i.e. Siakam, Barnes, Trent, FVV, OG, Achiuwa

Just upgrade the bench and we're set for next season.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

the likely route

Glass half full:

- Full year of healthy FVV
- Full year of healthy OG
- Siakam playing like he did this past season
- Scottie improved
- Precious improved (off the bench)
- Trent being Trent

then improving our bench

- Rim protector
- Shooter

with Delano / Flynn / Thad / Boucher / Precious

This team wins 50 + just by staying healthy IMO. If we get nice improvements by Scottie and Precious, look out.

I don't think we acquire 1. That was a rare situation. No one wanted to give up a lot because they knew he was going to the Clippers. While we knew our team wasn't gonna get better and we're willing to take a chance for one year.

You always look at the bright side, but if we don't win a championship that's a big L.

So KOC has also heard rumblings about Toronto's interest in Gobert but if realgm says that there is no truth to the rumor, then I guess both O'Connor and Fischer are lying

I dont think Ayton is worried about easy buckets when he is making the max already, he wont be playing with CP for multiple contracts here.

Lol if you think Ayton once he gets the max will care about playing with a 38 year old CP, then you hit your head too much.

There were reports not long ago Raptors want Gobert ....So there must be something to that rumor ....There is prolly a 55-60 percent chance this offseason thats the guy Masai goes after in a trade....Even if RealGm/Twitter does not like it...We seen Masai go against what RealGm/Twitter wants many times if it were up to them DeRozan would have still been a Raptor and Suggs would be our rookie instead of Barnes....So Yeah ill listen to reports from real reporters and trust Masai if he makes the moves over online people.

"Now, I think it’s more likely than not that he’s in a new destination next season, especially if the Suns can work out a sign-and-trade that brings back some value," writes John Hollinger. "For whatever reason, I don’t think Phoenix is totally comfortable going forward with him on a big-money deal, and I think Ayton might be okay with going somewhere else if he can have a bigger offensive role."

He wants to be a focus on offense.
