I have no idea how good Poeltl-Siakam-Barnes-OG-VanVleet would be, it's just so little shooting and so solid in every other way. Hell of a team in the late 1990s, but I think you'd need a one man fastbreak at PG to make that work now, like Ja, and have to be far and away the team with the most fast break points in the league.
Where's the D?

We might as well hire Kevin O'Neill back with that lineup

If we're going to add a vet C, a guy like Turner makes more sense. He can hits 3s and you don't have to run much through him which allows you to put the ball in the hands of Siakam/Barnes.

Todays games TwO watch

Chicago vs Indiana
Washington vs Dallas
Charlotte vs Phoenix

Chicago v Indiana is a wash as we need both teams to lose. But it'd be real clean if Charlotte and Washington can win their matchups.

How long is Hali out for? They've been awful since he went down, and just goes to show his impact.

I expect the Pacers to be in the play in assuming Hali comes back. Chicago OTOH is worrying me. They shouldn't be this bad, aren't Lavine and Vuc playing well also?

With how close the top teams are to each other, and no one team running away from the pack, half the league look like they should be on the phone to Masai hoping to make a trade.

Bottom 4 is locked lol those guys are not winning games and moving up out their spots.
We gotta root for the Wizards and Magic and then hope the Pacers/Jazz don't turn on the tank last minute

it's okay i like where we are (5th or 6th). If we are bottom 2 and miss out on the top 2 lottery picks the anti-tankers are going to start saying tanking doesn't work.

Lol @ all the trades trying to make us a playoff team. First off, the trades are so one-sided in our favour that the other team will not realistically do those trades. Second, why would we do those trades? To get a shot at the play-in and be swept by the Celtics in the first round?

"Oh but we get play off experience". Oh give me a break. Trade away FVV, Trent and OG for whatever we can get. Trade away Siakim for multiple picks and call it a year. Roll out the red carpet for Wemby, sit back and enjoy the show.

It ain't rocket science. Winning is losing and losing is winning.
