Yeah, I've said this a few times.

Yes, very nice breakdown by Undefeated there.

My only negative comment is that I don't see the elite quickness or speed. So I worry whether those moves will translate to the nba or if he'll be an easy guard like DD.

He has skills. He plays under control. Good fundamentals. Lots to like. That last play was real nice.

I want to see similar vids of the other wings. Looking for that kind of DWade explosiveness or Manu quicks even if just in brief spurts. Give me hope that playing in wide open nba could see another level.

Why would you compare him to two hall of famers that play a different position and a different style? Makes no sense.

I think he is using them as a reference point as, while playing different positions, they both do not possess elite athleticism or speed, and the same is true of Barnes.

with the number 2 pick you wouldnt draft drummond?

I would not take Drummond second overall either, the guy has no real discernible skills other than being athletic. I will acknowledge that there is a chance that Drummond could even become the greatest player from this draft one day owning entirely to his potential, but I highly doubt he reaches that potential.

Word is that Austin Rivers is signing an agent and will enter the 2012 draft... the more talent, the better. I wouldn't mid a deal where we trade our low first for a late lottery and pick him up, while grabbing another starter in the process.

Rivers is overrated and sucks. I've been warming up to Sully lately and he seems like a decent prospect. He's consistent and he can be a good replacement for Bargnani since he has an NBA ready bangers body at 260lbs and a height of 6'10. That be a fantastic pairing with Val. I'd only take a go at him with a second pick in the draft so maybe if Bargnani could be traded for him that be a big help. Then of course you can draft a wing player like Beal and try moving on from there.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

1. Anthony Davis - Game changer on D, burgeoning talent on the offensive end.

2. Brad Beal - Leader. Potential to be a great shooter. Mature body and demeanor. I think he'll develop the ability to bust opponents off the dribble, as well as thrive in pick and roll situations.

3. Thomas Robinson - Explosive NBA specimen w/ diverse footwork and a developing face up game. Works hard to establish good position. Can take his man off the dribble, right or left. Solid length, bulk, quickness and recognition to defend his position well at the next level. Mentally tough.

All of the above, I believe, possess not only the talent, but the intangibles to succeed at the next level. While guys like Lamb, Drummond and PJ III ooze such talent, their tendencies to disappear during games worry me. (Lamb not as much as the other two).

On a side note, I think Barnes, MKG and Sullinger also posses talent and good mental make up - just not as much as my top three.

I think you read it wrong, or I typed it wrong. I said I wanted to look more closely at the OTHER wings in the draft to see if they might have the kind of explosiveness or quicks that star nba wings have.

I wasn't seeing that from Barnes although I like the other things he brings.

 Marlo wasn't the nicest guy, but he was definitely a true representation of the street. The guy even got a free pass to be a rich snob and chose to go back to the corner. EPIC!

I don't know if it was posted, but Ford said Wiz would take Beal 2nd. I expect more teams throw that out soon. Looks to me like Beal and Robinson being the 2nd and 3rd overall picks is the most natural result here

we've got two more weeks, MKG, T-ROB, Beal, Sully, Barnes can all massively change their stock IMO.

Avon was just a product of his environment. Stringer on the other hand was scheming bastard but seeing him get that A- on that ECON assignment he handed in motivated me to do mine. Too bad he tried to snake Brother Mouzone like that. Marlo's team was dirty though with Wale's cousin (Chris) and Snoop. I one day hope the Raptors front court can resemble such a fierce trio.

Anthony Davis at PF is a start.
